Bedrock Contemporary linear burner: a vented drop-in system from 24 to 96 inches with LED lights
The Grand Canyon Gas Logs Bedrock Contemporary linear burner is a complete drop-in fire system for a trough-style masonry or contemporary fireplace, indoors or on a covered patio. Its long, narrow design comes in seven lengths from 24 to 96 inches, with a powder coated steel case. It was the first vented drop-in burner with built-in LED lighting.
Order it for natural gas or propane. The system is built for one gas and cannot be converted later. It plugs into a 110 volt outlet or can be hard wired. The case, burner, SIT Proflame II controls with a handheld remote that sets five flame heights, LED lights controlled by remote or phone app, flex line, and fittings all come in the box. Half inch reflective fire glass is required and sold separately in seven colors on the page. You can add cannonballs or driftwood logs on top. Need a ventless system? Can a drop-in burner system stretch to a full eight feet?
This one can. The run covers seven sizes – 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84, and 96 inches – stepping up a foot at a time, so one platform serves a modest firebox and a full eight-foot architectural trough alike. Every length is sold gas-specific, in EN natural gas or EP liquid propane builds, with no field conversion between fuels afterward.
Is the case included, or just the burner itself?
The case is included – this is a complete system rather than a bare burner. Each unit ships with the case, burner, SIT controls with remote, LED lights with their own remote, rating plate, installation manual, flex line, and fittings, all built to ANSI standards. What arrives is what the installer sets into the fireplace, not the start of a parts list.
Does installing it mean rebuilding the fireplace?
No – fitting existing fireplaces is the whole design brief. The system is specifically designed to fit any trough-style masonry fireplace or contemporary wood-burning fireplace, settling into the opening the structure already has. The masonry stays untouched as architecture; the burner and its case bring the linear fire to it rather than demanding a new firebox be built around them.
Can a glass-media burner still show a log fire?
Yes. Half-inch reflective glass is the required base and is sold separately, though the Fire Glass add-on on this page – seven colors in ten-pound bags – lets it join the same order. Beyond the glass, Grand Canyon offers optional Driftwood logs and Cannonballs for this system, so the contemporary burner can wear a log fire or sculptural spheres instead of showing glass alone.
What industry first does the Bedrock Contemporary claim?

Why build an indoor burner from rust-resistant steel?
Because indoors is only half of its rating. The system is approved for covered patio placement as well as interior fireplaces, so the construction is powder-coated steel and rust-resistant steel throughout. That metalwork is backed by a lifetime warranty on metal components, while the electrical side carries one year of coverage – terms that reflect what steel and electronics each face.
What does drop-in mean on a fireplace burner?
It means the unit is engineered to be lowered into an opening that already exists instead of being framed into new construction. This system pairs a gas fireplace burner with its own case as a single assembly, so the linear trough it creates is self-contained once it is set in place and connected. A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
