SimpliFire Allusion Platinum: a recessed or wall hanging fire with tall glass
The SimpliFire Allusion Platinum is a linear electric fireplace for your wall. It comes in three widths from 50 to 72 inches. Pick the size on the page. The glass is 15 inches tall. Crystals or white stones fill the ember bed beneath the flames. You choose the flame color and the ember bed color, so the fire can look natural or match your room. It recesses flush into a 2 by 6 wall, or hangs on the wall with the optional wall mount kit.
It needs no gas line and no chimney. Plug it into a wall outlet on its own circuit, or have an electrician hardwire it. It gives 5,000 BTU of heat, enough to take the chill off the room. Run the flames with or without heat. It comes with a remote, and there are buttons on the fireplace itself. In the box you get clear crystals, white ceramic stones, and the remote. You can add the wall mount kit. For the smallest size, you can also add driftwood logs and a Boyd build out kit, a finished box that lets the fireplace hang on the wall without opening it. Can the Allusion Platinum be recessed fully into a wall?
Yes. The Features tab describes a clean look fully recessed in a finished 2×6 wall, and the specification lists a 6-inch framing depth with a 19-3/4 inch framing height. Framing width is 51, 61 or 73 inches depending on the size. The owner’s manual in the Manuals tab has a dedicated section on recessing in 2×6 framing, including an optional framing method that hides the outlet.
What is the Boyd build-out kit, and which size does it fit?
It is a non-structural surround that lets you surface-mount the fireplace without opening the wall, and it is made for the 50-inch model only. Two styles are offered on the selector once you pick the 50-inch size: Modern Farmhouse or Ready-to-Finish. Prices appear on the selector, and the kit’s installation instructions are linked in the Manuals tab.
What media is included, and can I add a log set?
Clear crystal media and ceramic white stones come standard. A driftwood log set is listed as an optional accessory; on this page it appears on the fire bed selector when the 50-inch size is chosen, with its price shown there. The log instruction sheet is linked under Accessory Manuals in the Manuals tab. Contact us if you want logs for another size.
Does it plug in or need hardwiring?
The owner’s manual says the fireplace is designed to be hard-wired for 120 V and that a plug-in kit is supplied for use with a grounded receptacle, so either works. It needs a 15 amp, 120 V circuit; a dedicated circuit is not required but is recommended. The manual also notes the units have been tested to be compatible with AFCI and GFCI breakers.
Does this model have Wi-Fi or app control?
No. The Allusion Platinum is controlled with buttons on the face of the fireplace and the standard multifunction remote, which handles on/off, the thermostat, flame color and ember-bed color. If you want Wi-Fi and voice control, look at the Scion, Triton or Allusion Edge models in our wall-mounted electric fireplace range.
How much heat does it give off?
5,000 BTU/hr on every size, which is supplemental heat for the room it sits in. Heat is adjustable and can be turned off, so the four flame colors and 13 ember-bed colors can run on their own all year. The 15-inch high viewing area measures 48, 58 or 70 inches wide depending on the model.
Can I hang it on the wall instead of recessing it?
Yes. The description says you can surface-mount it with the optional wall-mount kit, and the kit is offered on the selector for all three sizes; the bracket instructions in the Manuals tab cover the 50, 60 and 72-inch models. The 50-inch size can alternatively be surface-mounted inside the Boyd build-out kit for a finished surround look.

We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
