Yes, that is the idea behind the series. The spheres come in three sizes of 2, 4, and 6 inches, and you can keep to a single size for a clean minimalist arrangement or combine sizes for a random, one-of-a-kind stack. Mixing the scales adds depth to the fire and lets you tailor the look to your opening instead of settling for a fixed pattern.
Will the color burn off the spheres over time?
No. Each sphere is hand-molded ceramic fiber that is dyed through and through, so the Black, Gray, or White color runs the full depth of the material rather than sitting on the surface as paint. With no finish coat to flake or scorch away above the flames, the set keeps its look through regular fires indoors or out.
Do these work with drop-in outdoor pan burners?
Yes. The sets are compatible with Glass H and T burners, Ring, H, and T burners, and all drop-in outdoor pan burners, so they can dress an existing pan rather than requiring a dedicated burner. That compatibility list covers the most common burner formats, which makes the spheres straightforward to spec alongside a new burner or retrofit over one you already own.

The design is modeled on civil-war-era cannonballs — authentic casted pieces with a period character that reads surprisingly modern once flames are moving around them. Each sphere is hand-molded from ceramic fiber, and like every Grand Canyon product the sets are 100 percent American-made in Phoenix, Arizona, where the brand casts and finishes its fire media.
What do the lava granules and crushed glass add?
They complete the brand’s signature presentation: the Cannonballs are designed to be nestled in a bed of lava granules surrounded by crushed reflective glass. The granules give the spheres a natural seat over the burner, while the reflective glass bounces flame light around the matte ceramic shapes — a combination Grand Canyon recommends for elevating indoor and outdoor fireplaces alike.
Can the same set style an outdoor linear fire pit?
Yes. The sets are rated for indoor and outdoor use in vented applications, covering front-view and see-through fireplaces as well as linear fire pits. Warranty follows the setting — lifetime for indoor installations, five years outdoors. That range makes these some of the most flexible contemporary gas logs in the lineup, moving from an interior firebox to a patio feature without a second purchase.
How many fire spheres do I need to fill a fireplace?
Each set is sized as a complete display: CB2-12 brings twelve 2-inch spheres, CB4-8 brings eight 4-inch spheres, and CB6-4 brings four 6-inch spheres, built around a configuration three rows deep and two rows high. If you want a fuller field of spheres or a mixed-scale look, combine sets — the sizes are made to mix and match.

- Open and inspect the order while the delivery driver is present. If delivery driver does not provide sufficient time to do so, please notate the delivery receipt.
- By signing the delivery receipt without noting any damage or missing items, you confirm that your order arrived complete and in excellent condition.
- Record any damage or missing pieces directly on the delivery receipt.
- Do not discard damaged item(s) or any original packaging. For severe damage, write “Refused due to damage” on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately.
- Report any damage within two business days, including delivery details and photos showing the issue
- Damaged item(s) must be returned within 30 days. Failure to return them will result in a charge to the original payment method.

- You will receive an email within 1-2 business days confirming whether your return request has been approved or denied.
- Please also note that a 20% restocking fee may apply to approved returns
- If approved, you will receive an itemized Return Authorization, return shipping labels (if requested), and detailed instructions within 1–2 business days
- From the date this email is received, you will have 14 days to return the product.
- Once our distributor receives and inspects the returned item(s), your refund will be issued within 1–2 weeks
- Items returned outside of this process or time frame are not eligible for a refund.
