How does the 24-inch Unity differ from the 18-inch?
Six inches of presence. At 24 inches tall, this Unity meets standard patio chairs at armrest height and reads as a proper fire table rather than a low trough. Same three lengths, same finish options — choose by your furniture: deep lounge seating suits the low one; dining-adjacent setups suit this.
What are the sizes and SKUs?
48, 60, and 72 inches at the 24-inch height — stainless builds run OPT-UNYSS48, OPT-UNYSS60, and OPT-UNYSS72. Every Unity is made to order for Liquid Propane or Natural Gas, with five ignition systems from Match Lit to CSA-certified Plug and Play.
Which materials can I choose?

How much clearance from the house does it want?
Spec sheet first, ten-foot guideline second. The Unity throws no embers — it is gas — which is why codes commonly allow fire tables closer to outdoor rooms than wood fire ever gets; overhangs and combustible walls still keep their buffer.
Is putting it out really instant?
Genuinely — close the valve and the Unity goes dark mid-flicker. No coals, no ash, no second visit at midnight to check on it. The stainless or copper body sheds its heat within minutes, and then the night is simply over.
Do towns allow fire pits like this in backyards?
Almost all of them — the Unity is smokeless, emberless gas, exempt from the burn bans and wood-smoke rules that catch traditional pits. Gas-line permits and HOA aesthetics are the remaining formalities; a licensed installer handles the first, your color choice the second.
Can I cook over a fire table?
Marshmallows at the flame tips, yes; cooking, no. The Unity burner and media are not built for dripping food, which flares, stains, and clogs ports. Treat it as the after-dinner feature — dessert flames included — and keep the grilling on the grill.
