Cazo Fire Pit, Narrow Ledge in Stainless Steel: a 48-inch brushed steel fire bowl
The Outdoor Plus Cazo fire pit in the Narrow Ledge stainless steel version is a 48-inch round gas fire bowl with a thin rolled rim and a deep open fire bed, so nearly the whole diameter goes to flame. The brushed stainless has a clean, almost futuristic look, never rusts or changes color, and is handmade in the USA.
Order it for natural gas or propane. Light it with a match, or add electronic ignition and start it with a button. The burner, pan, hose, fittings, and lava rock are included; a key valve, cover, and fire glass are optional. Need a 60-inch bowl? The powder-coated Narrow Ledge Cazo comes in both sizes. The stainless Narrow Ledge Cazo fire pit ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
Why go stainless for the Narrow Ledge Cazo?
Permanence without upkeep — the stainless Cazo holds its bright, contemporary finish through rain, heat cycles, and coastal air with nothing but an occasional wipe. No patina schedule, no curing period; the bowl you unbox is the bowl you’ll have in a decade.
What size does the stainless version come in?
A single 48-inch bowl, SKU OPT-SS48FP — the focused option in the Cazo family. If you need 60 inches or a different material, the concrete and powder-coated Narrow Ledge siblings widen the menu.
What parts are included?
The stainless Cazo ships with its fire pit pan, burner, nipple, gas hoses, fuel orifice, and lava rock — a complete system awaiting only your media preference and a licensed gas connection. Five ignition options are available, from Match Lit to CSA-certified Plug and Play.
How does shutdown work?
Close the valve; the flame in the 48-inch bowl dies instantly with nothing left smoldering. Give the stainless surface time to cool before touching or covering — that’s the entire end-of-night procedure, and it beats tending wood coals by an hour.
Is placing it on an outdoor rug okay?
No — the Cazo needs a hard, non-combustible footing: pavers, stone, or concrete. It radiates heat downward in operation, and a stable base matters for a steel bowl this size. Keep rugs out at the seating radius where they belong.
What about under a covered patio?
Possibly — gas features can pass covered-install review when ceiling clearance and ventilation meet code and manufacturer figures. Measure from the stainless Cazo’s rim to your cover, check the spec sheet, and let your installer issue the verdict.
Which fuel is it built for?
Your choice at purchase — natural gas or liquid propane, with the correct orifice fitted at the factory. The stainless Cazo is the low-maintenance benchmark in our gas fire pit collection.
