Remi: a raised flame ringed by a sheet of water
The Outdoor Plus Remi is a 31-inch round fire and water bowl with gravity spill, hand hammered in solid copper in the USA. Water fills a wide shelf around the raised central fire ring, spilling forward in one broad, glassy sheet. Outdoors, copper develops a blue-green patina.
Order it for natural gas or propane. Light it with a match, or add electronic ignition and start it with a button. The pan, burner, copper scupper, hose, and lava rock are included; a key valve, propane tank pedestal, canvas cover, bullet burner upgrade, fire glass, and burner ornaments are optional. Prefer a single narrow stream? See the standard Remi fire and water bowl. The Remi fire and water bowl ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
How is the Gravity Spill Remi different from the regular Remi?
Same 31-inch hammered copper pedestal bowl, different water exit: OPT-31RCFOGS lets water well over the lip and fall in a close, sheeting curtain, where the standard Remi throws a defined scupper stream. Gravity spill reads quieter and more architectural; the scupper reads more like a classic fountain.
What does the gravity spill sound like?
A soft, steady wash rather than a splash – because the water on this Remi slides down near the bowl instead of arcing into the pool, it lands gently. For spas and small pools where conversation happens close to the feature, that lower sound level is the main reason to choose it.
What comes included with the Remi Gravity Spill?
Fire pan and plate, burner, copper scupper hardware with a 3/4-inch inlet, mounting bracket, NG or LP orifice, whistle-free hose, and lava rock. Ignition is match lit or electronic, and the whole unit is built for the fuel you specify – liquid propane or natural gas.
Will the copper darken where the water runs?
Yes, and unevenly at first – the wetted path over the lip patinas fastest, then the whole 31-inch bowl catches up to a warm bronze. That streaked, water-marked aging is characteristic of every living-finish copper fire pit and most owners grow to love it.
Can I run the flame while water sheets over the edge?
Yes – fire and water are separately supplied and separately valved on the Remi, so both together is standard operation. The burner sits above the waterline on the fire plate, kept clear of the spill path, and either system runs happily alone.
Do I need a pool contractor for this one?
Recommended, yes. The Gravity Spill Remi wants a dead-level set – a tilted bowl spills to one side – plus a plumbed water feed and a professionally connected gas line. Pool builders do all three in one mobilization; a licensed gas fitter signs off the fuel side.
Can you roast marshmallows over a bowl like this?
Physically, a gas flame will toast a marshmallow – but the Remi is a pool feature perched over water, so leaning across a spill wall with a skewer is a bad idea, and sugar drips gum up lava rock. Treat this one as scenery and keep s’mores at the fire pit.
