Cazo Fire Pit, Narrow Ledge in GFRC Concrete: a deep round concrete fire bowl
The Outdoor Plus Cazo fire pit in the Narrow Ledge GFRC concrete version is a round gas fire bowl with Spanish-style curves, a slim rim, and a deep bowl, so it reads as mostly fire. It is cast in the USA from a lightweight glass-fiber concrete with the texture of carved stone, in 48 and 60 inch sizes and 18 finishes.
Order it for natural gas or propane. Light it with a match, or add electronic ignition and start it with a button. The burner, pan, hose, fittings, and lava rock are included; a key valve, cover, and fire glass are optional. Want a built-in table rim? See the Wide Ledge concrete Cazo. The Narrow Ledge concrete Cazo fire pit ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
What does the narrow ledge mean on this Cazo?
It’s the proportion play: a slim rim circling a deep bowl, so more of the Cazo Narrow Ledge’s diameter goes to fire and less to shelf. If the wide-ledge version is a fire pit with a built-in table, this one is the purer bowl — flame first.
What is the concrete Cazo actually cast from?
Glass fiber reinforced concrete — fine glass fibers throughout the cast give the Narrow Ledge bowl the density and texture of carved stone at a manageable weight. That’s the trick behind our concrete fire pit range, and it offers 18 cast-in colors from Ash to Vanilla.
What sizes are offered?
Two diameters — 48 inches (OPT-CZNL48) and 60 inches (OPT-CZNL60). The narrow rim keeps even the 60-inch Cazo feeling like mostly fire, with pan, burner, gas orifice, hoses, nipple, and lava rock all included in the box.
Are marshmallows over propane actually good?
Better than most people expect — propane burns clean, so a marshmallow over the Cazo Narrow Ledge caramelizes without any smoke taint. The deep bowl and open rim give roasters clear angles at the flame from every side.
What clearance from the house does it need?
Work from the usual 10-foot gas-feature guideline to structures and overhangs, then let local code refine it. The Narrow Ledge Cazo throws no embers, but its bowl still needs open ventilation above and honest setbacks around.
Does weather bother the GFRC bowl?
No — the Cazo’s concrete shell is built for year-round exposure and its color is cast through, not painted on. Housekeeping is minimal: tip out pooled rainwater, let the burner dry before lighting, and cover it if it hibernates for a season.
Do I order it for natural gas or propane?
You choose at purchase — every Narrow Ledge Cazo is built for the liquid propane or natural gas you specify, with the correct orifice included. Tell us what your patio supplies and it arrives ready for the licensed hookup.
