This AOG side burner collection holds built-in T-Series and L-Series burners for the counter beside your grill. Each gives you extra cooking space for pots and pans while the grill handles the main meal. Choose the series that matches your AOG grill so the fronts look alike. These burners need a counter of their own rather than a grill cart.

What does an AOG double side burner do?

Two brass burners sit under heavy stainless steel grates, which the maker calls grids, for cooking sauce, corn or a skillet meal beside the grill. The body is heavy stainless steel too, and each burner gives a steady flame you set with its own knob. The ignition system is the knob itself: turn it and a spark lights the burner, with no battery. Choose natural gas or propane, and a fitted cover is an option on the page. You can also compare side burners from other brands. We list only the two double side burners, and the maker's single side burner is not on our store.

T-Series or L-Series?

The T-Series is the simpler choice, with nothing to plug in. The L-Series adds a color changing light bar across the front to match the L-Series grill. Match your series when choosing from the AOG built-in grills, which come in 24, 30 and 36 inches.

Where the burner goes in your island

The burner drops into its own countertop cutout and needs a gas line, plus an outdoor outlet for the L-Series lighting. It adds a second cooking surface beside the grill's grates. Plan doors and drawers below it as part of your outdoor kitchen layout. A grill on one of the AOG carts and bases does without this burner because it needs a counter. Send us your island drawing and we will check the cutout.

Why buy an AOG side burner from My Cozy Outdoors?

These burners are built in City of Industry, California, by the same family company that makes Fire Magic, using brass and heavy stainless steel for durability outdoors. That company has more than 75 years of manufacturing experience. We are an authorized dealer for American Outdoor Grill, and the full manufacturer warranty applies. Your gas selection on the page determines how the burner comes built. Call us and we will talk it through.

Your side burner questions

Is a side burner on a grill worth it?

It is useful if you want pots off the grill grates and beside you instead of indoors. The pair works like two burners of a kitchen range for sauce, corn or a skillet. It uses the same gas as your grill but needs its own counter cutout.

T-Series or L-Series side burner?

Both have the same brass cooking burners, stainless steel grates and body. The T-Series matches T-Series grills and needs no outlet, while the L-Series has color changing front lighting that plugs into an outdoor outlet. Match your grill series so the fronts look alike.

Does an AOG side burner need electricity?

The T-Series needs no electricity because turning the knob makes the spark that lights the burner, with no battery needed. The L-Series lights the same way, but its front lighting needs an outdoor outlet. Only the lighting on the L-Series AOG side burner needs electricity.
