Summerset Grill Liner for the 25 inch Sizzler: A heat barrier for wood framed islands
The Summerset Grill Liner for the 25 inch Sizzler is a stainless steel sleeve that lines the cutout for a built in grill. It is for an island framed in wood or any other material that can burn, because the heat from the grill would otherwise reach the framing. Liner means a double walled stainless steel box, one inch thick, that goes into the cutout first, and the grill drops into it. It fits only the 25 inch Sizzler. Each grill size has its own liner. It is built from 304 stainless steel, the grade that holds up best outdoors, and Summerset backs it with a lifetime warranty.
An island built entirely of block, metal studs, and cement board does not need one. Frame the opening to the liner size in the grill manual, not to the grill itself. I am planning a compact patio island – is a liner still necessary?
Size does not change the physics: if the enclosure around your 25-inch Sizzler is wood or composite, it needs the GL-SZR25. Small islands actually put framing closer to the firebox, so the 1-inch insulated barrier is arguably even more important in a tight build.
Does this liner fit any Sizzler, or just the 25?
Just the 25-inch Sizzler – Summerset makes separate liners for the 32- and 40-inch models in the series. The GL-SZR25 matches the smallest grill in the family, which is exactly what makes the fit snug and the finished reveal look clean.
What is the cheapest safe way to build a small grill island?
Wood framing plus a liner is the classic budget route. Lumber is cheaper and easier to work than masonry, and the GL-SZR25 is what makes that construction safe for a bbq grill. Frame it, face it however you like, sleeve the cutout, drop in the Sizzler 25.
What is the GL-SZR25 built from?
Double-walled, weather-resistant #304 stainless steel at 1 inch thick. An interesting detail: that is a higher steel grade than the #443 used on the Sizzler body itself, making the liner one of the most corrosion-proof parts of the whole station.
Does it need any maintenance once installed?
Practically none – an occasional wipe of the visible stainless lip when you clean the Sizzler 25 is all the GL-SZR25 asks. There is nothing mechanical to service, and the steel never needs sealing, painting, or any kind of seasonal attention.
If I later rebuild with brick instead, is the liner wasted?
A true full-masonry island would not require it, so you could omit it there. But if brick ends up as a veneer over wood studs – the most common DIY approach – the GL-SZR25 is still doing essential protective work behind that facade.

We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
