Choose straight islands for one run, with lengths from 60 to 115 inches. Our L-shaped layouts add a second leg at a right angle and range from 72 to 144 inches. For a patio corner, browse corner islands from 112 to 144 inches. Think about which shape leaves room to move around your backyard.

Choose what is built in

Browse islands with a fridge built in to keep drinks beside the grill, or islands and prep stations with sinks for water at the counter. A griddle gives you another cooking surface on selected islands. If you want a burner beside your grill, compare gas grills with side burners. Choose the appliances you want beside you while cooking.

Complete, kit or components?

Want a finished BBQ grill island rather than separate parts? Go straight to complete outdoor kitchen islands. Assembled steel islands have the grill and appliances built in. Concrete systems assemble on site around a grill and side cooker chosen separately; some bundles include storage and a fridge, and one Fire Magic island is sized for a pizza oven.

Kits pair a grill with doors and drawers. Choose frames you cover with your own cement board and finish, or equipment alone for your own build. For individual parts, browse access doors, drawers and door-drawer combinations, outdoor-rated refrigerators and built-in grill heads.

Measure your patio and the route into it. Leave room to cook and open doors. Choose natural gas or propane when ordering your gas grill. Think about where you want prep space and storage. A straight run keeps everything along one line; an L-shaped design turns the counter around a corner.

Natural gas or propane for a BBQ island?

Choose either fuel when ordering. Natural gas suits a fixed island within reach of a gas line, with no tank to swap. Propane suits a yard without gas service, with the tank behind an island door. The food tastes the same.

How much space do I need for a BBQ island?

Islands here run 60 to 144 inches long. Measure the run, leaving room to cook and open doors. Check the street-to-patio route: complete islands arrive in one piece. A 60- or 72-inch straight island suits a small patio; an L-shaped island uses a corner.

Can I build my own BBQ island from a kit?

Yes. Kits include a grill, doors and drawers, with frames you finish or equipment for your own frame. Alternatively, select Wildfire components individually. A gas grill in combustible framing needs an insulated liner, and an island plumbed for gas needs a vent.
