Meet the SaunaLife portable saunas

The SaunaTrekker sauna tent holds four people within 70.9 by 70.9 inches, while the SaunaTrekker XL holds six within about 13 by 14 feet, with six windows. Hand-crafted in Northern Europe, both have attached frames that pop open in minutes with no tools and three layers, a waterproof polyester shell, insulation in the middle and a lining that reflects heat back in, for use in every season. The heater and stones

The TITAN SL1 propane sauna heater uses a standard propane tank, needs no wiring or chimney and adjusts from 4.5 to 8.1 kilowatts. The maker says most saunas reach temperature in under 30 minutes. Its basket holds 44 pounds of sauna stones, and the hot stones and steam give the same heat as a traditional sauna.

The heater shuts off its gas if oxygen in the air in the room falls too low or if it is knocked off balance. A 60 minute timer stops it, so you relight it for a longer sit. Keep the vents open, with a fresh air intake and an exhaust to the outdoors, and follow the manual. Explore the heater and attachments.

Packages or individual pieces

Each sauna tent package includes either tent, the TITAN SL1 heater, bench and one 33 pound box of stones, and a second box fills the basket. The SaunaTrekker Bench is a two-level folding cedar bench, while the tent connector joins two standard tents. The TITAN SL1 Water Tank provides steam and hot rinse water, while the TITAN SL1 Heater Guard adds an alder rail against brushing hot metal.

The TITAN SL1 Heat Shield lets the heater sit 4 inches from a wooden wall instead of 6 inches. Follow the manual for placement. Browse sauna accessories for a bucket and ladle.

Permanent rooms

The cube rooms have a glass front and stay in your yard. The barrel rooms have a barrel shape and also give you a permanent sauna. Both are hand-crafted by the same maker in Northern Europe. Compare every brand through our outdoor sauna collection.

Your questions answered

Where are SaunaLife portable saunas made?

Each SaunaTrekker tent is made by hand in Northern Europe to SaunaLife's design. The brand's barrel and cube saunas are also hand-crafted there. The heater and add-ons are SaunaLife pieces made to go with the tents.

Does a SaunaLife sauna tent come with a heater?

The tent alone does not. Both packages include their tent, the TITAN SL1 propane heater, one 33 pound box of stones and the folding bench. A second box fills the 44 pound basket. The heater includes its regulator, hose, gloves and one guard.

How many people fit in a SaunaTrekker?

The SaunaTrekker holds up to four people in 70.9 by 70.9 inches. The SaunaTrekker XL holds up to six people, needs about 13 by 14 feet and has six windows. The connector zips two standard tents together into one long SaunaLife portable sauna.
