The American Made Grills Muscle 36 Freestanding Hybrid Grill is a 36 inch hybrid grill on its own rolling stainless steel cart, so you need no island at all. Hybrid means it is a full gas grill that also burns real charcoal or wood: stainless steel trays under the grates hold the coals or the wood chunks, so you can cook over gas, over a live fire, or both at once. Vents in the hood let you feed air to a charcoal or wood fire or choke it down, the way a charcoal grill does. It suits cooks who want those fuel choices with a bold hood styled after a Mustang muscle car. American Made Grills builds it in the USA from 304 stainless steel, the grade that holds up best outdoors. Five stainless steel burners give 110,000 BTUs over about 1,070 square inches of cooking space.
The grates are thick V shaped stainless steel bars that flip over, and lifting tools come with the grill for moving them hot. The double walled hood holds heat like an oven, and lights inside the hood and over each knob let you cook after dark. An infrared back burner at the rear runs the included rotisserie, so a chicken or a roast turns and bastes itself. Also in the box: an infrared sear burner that drops in where a grate goes, a griddle plate, a starter kit of wood and charcoal, leather gloves, a care kit, and a vinyl cover for the grill head. Do you need charcoal for a gas grill?
No — a gas bbq grill runs entirely on its burners, and this one is no exception on its natural gas or propane supply. Charcoal is strictly a bonus here: the Muscle hybrid design adds fuel trays that accept charcoal or wood whenever you want live-fire flavor, and a starter Fuel Kit with both is included. Skip the charcoal entirely and it still does everything a conventional gas grill does.
How do you grill with wood chunks on a gas grill?
On a standard gas grill you’d need add-on hardware, but this freestanding hybrid takes wood directly: load chunks into the fuel trays, light them, and cook over a genuine wood fire. The included Fuel Kit provides wood and charcoal to begin with, and the cart’s large storage drawer has stainless steel fuel dividers, so your chunk supply stays sorted and within arm’s reach of the fire.
Does this gas grill come assembled?
Yes — it arrives fully assembled. The Muscle 36 freestanding hybrid ships as a complete unit, cart and all, so there’s no weekend of fastener-sorting before you cook: roll it into position on its caster wheels and connect your fuel. With 1,072 square inches of total cooking surface ready on delivery, assembly is the manufacturer’s job rather than yours.
Where do you store charcoal and wood on this cart?
The cart’s large storage drawer is built for exactly that, with stainless steel fuel dividers keeping charcoal and wood chunks separated and organized. Two additional accessory storage drawers handle tools and gloves, and the drawers ride on soft-close hardware. Side, rear, and bottom ventilation keeps air moving through the cart base as well, which suits a grill that regularly burns solid fuel.
What keeps the cart from rolling while you cook?
The cart rides on a mix of locking and non-locking caster wheels — step the locks down and it plants itself for the duration of the cook. When you do want to relocate it, the built-in cart handle gives you a proper grip for steering across the patio while the free-rolling casters keep it maneuverable. It’s a deliberate mix: mobile when you choose, stationary when it matters.
Is there anywhere to prep food on this grill cart?
Yes — the cart works as its own prep station. A folding shelf adds counter space when you need it and folds away when you don’t, a cutting board is part of the package, and there’s a towel holder alongside the cart handle. With the accessory drawers keeping tools below deck, you can season, slice, and plate at the grill without a trip back to the kitchen.
What is the tank pullout drawer for?
It’s the propane provision built into the cart: a dedicated pullout drawer that holds the LP tank if you run this grill on propane. Fuel is chosen right on this page — select Natural Gas or Propane under the Fuel Type option when ordering. On a natural gas hookup no tank is needed at all, and the grill connects to your gas line instead.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. Sizing and heating need to be figured out, as does the building, but we have always had a helpful partner on our side. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
