DuraVent DuraTech Anchor Plate: start the chimney on an appliance or masonry fireplace
The DuraVent DuraTech Anchor Plate is a flat plate that starts the chimney on an appliance or masonry fireplace instead of at a ceiling box. It screws down, and the first pipe section twists onto it to lock in place. The appliance maker must approve DuraTech for that appliance. On masonry, the plate needs sealing and anchoring. Anchors are not included. DuraTech is DuraVent’s double wall chimney, an insulated pipe with a 1 inch wall that takes over from the stovepipe at the ceiling or wall and runs up past the roof.
Choose a 5, 6, 7, or 8 inch diameter to match your chimney. DuraTech serves appliances burning wood, coal, oil, or gas, with just one appliance connected per chimney. For a straight run, plan on a minimum height of 10 to 15 feet above the stove outlet. The cap must stand at least 3 feet above the roof exit and 2 feet above anything within 10 feet. Connecting from a masonry liner? See the DuraVent DuraTech Transition Anchor Plate for masonry liner connections. The DuraVent DuraTech Anchor Plate ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.
