Fire Magic Select Single Access Door with Louvers: a vented door for your propane bay
The Fire Magic Select Single Access Door with Louvers is a single tall door with louvers for an outdoor kitchen island. Select is Fire Magic’s mid priced line: the frame mounts on the face of the island and covers the cut edge of the opening, with a slim round handle and a magnetic latch. A rain guard around the frame keeps water out of the cabinet, and it skips the foam filled fronts and the soft close of the Flush line, which is where the savings are. Fire Magic builds it in the USA from 304 stainless steel, the grade that holds up best outdoors. It needs an opening 21 inches high by 14.5 inches wide. It goes over the propane bay in a mid priced island.
Louvers are slots in the door that let air through, and Fire Magic requires them on any door that hides a propane cylinder. This is the door only, with no tray, so the cylinder stands on the floor of the bay. On the page you pick a right or a left hinge, so the door swings away from the grill. Fire Magic covers it for two years. Want a pull out tray for the cylinder? See the Fire Magic Select Single Access Door with Tank Tray and Louvers. The Fire Magic Select Single Access Door with Louvers ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
Why does this door have louvers?
For ventilation. The doors and drawers manual says a louvered door is required when a propane cylinder is stored inside the island, so this Select door is the one to put on a tank bay. It is 304 stainless with outside mounting, a slim tubular handle, a magnetic latch and a continuous rain guard.
Right or left?
Choose on the Right or Left selector on this page: 33920-1-SR hinges on the right, as shown, and 33920-1-SL on the left. Pick the swing that clears the grill and neighboring doors, and put the door on the bay nearest the grill’s gas inlet so the cylinder hose stays short.
What cutout does it need?
Cut the enclosure 21 inches high by 14 1/2 inches wide, per the Specifications tab and the Fire Magic spec guide, which lists a 1 3/4 to 2 1/4 inch flange overlap for Select doors. The manual recommends silicone caulk behind the frame.
Does it include a tank tray?
No. This is the louvered door only; Fire Magic’s Select door with tank tray and louvers, model 33820-TS, adds the pull-out tray with a pull-latch that secures the cylinder collar, and is listed separately. See other outdoor kitchen doors here.
What warranty covers the 33920-1?
Two years for Select 3-Series doors per the Fire Magic spec guide’s warranty table, for the original purchaser in single-family residential use. The louvers are part of the stainless door panel, so there is nothing to maintain beyond keeping them clear so the bay can breathe.
