SaunaLife S2NC: a natural wood plunge tub with a bigger chiller and heater
The SaunaLife S2NC is a two person outdoor cold and hot plunge tub package with a natural wood surround. It comes with the larger Finnmark AP-1 chiller and heater, sized for this tub. You can set the water from 37 to 107 degrees Fahrenheit for a cold dip or a warm soak. The tub measures 74.4 inches long by 46 inches wide by 41 inches tall. A gray fiberglass liner follows the shape of the body, and round steps come with the tub. It reaches you already assembled on a pallet, ready to use once it is placed level and filled.
Adjust the water temperature on the touchscreen or through the Wi-Fi phone app. The unit plugs into a regular household outlet. FAQ
How cold does the water get, and can it heat too?
The SaunaLife S2NC cools water to 37 degrees and heats it up to 107 degrees. You can set the temperature on the chiller’s touchscreen or through its Wi-Fi phone app.
What power does the chiller need?
A regular 120 volt household outlet is all it needs, and it comes with its own GFCI cord. No electrician is needed. Keep the chiller in the shade with open air around its fan.
How is the water kept clean?
An ozone sanitizer and an outside filter cartridge help keep the water clean, and you rinse or replace the cartridge. Wipe the liner with household detergent and a soft cloth, avoid chlorine based cleaners, and drain and refill through the 1 inch drain when the water needs changing. Keep a cover on between uses and follow the chiller’s water treatment instructions on the Manual tab.
Can it stay outside in winter?
Yes, while outdoor temperatures stay within the AP-1 chiller’s operating range of 32 to 113 degrees. Below freezing, shut it down and drain both the chiller and the tub.
What base does it need?
It depends on your site, but the base must be level and stable. SaunaLife’s manual calls for placement at least 3 inches above the surrounding ground, on concrete blocks over compacted gravel or on a terrace. Oil the wood once a year with exterior wood oil.
Does the tub arrive assembled?
Yes, the tub arrives fully assembled with round stairs, and the chiller connects using two hoses and the 3/4 inch NPT fittings. Freight delivery is by appointment and curbside only, with the driver lowering the wooden pallet to the ground, so have two or three people ready to carry the pieces into place. Inspect the crate before signing and note any damage on the receipt.
Is a cover included?
No, the matching insulated S1 or S2 cover is sold separately on this site as its own product. It is not an add on on this page. A cover keeps leaves out and helps the chiller run less.
How many people fit?
Two people fit seated on the benches. Plan on one person if you want more room to stretch out.

Flat Rate Tub Package Freight: $695 flat rate shipping to the contiguous United States. $895 for Canada. A chiller ships for free when shipping together. On rare occasions, remote or complex delivery areas may not qualify for these rates.
About This Delivery: The weight and packaging of this handcrafted tub require delivery by special appointment. It arrives on a wooden pallet encased in wood for solid protection. The driver is responsible for “curbside delivery only” and will lower the item to ground level. Prior to shipping this product, we often contact customers to share shipment details and discuss any extenuating delivery circumstances that may complicate or cause additional delivery expenses.

We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
