SaunaLife S1BC: a black plunge package that plugs into a regular outlet
The SaunaLife S1BC is a round outdoor cold and hot immersion tub for one person. This black tub comes with a Finnmark FDC-1A water chiller and heater that plugs into a regular outlet. You can choose a cold plunge or a hot soak, with water temperatures from 32.5 to 108 degrees. The tub measures 40 inches across and 41.3 inches tall. It has a black wood surround and a contoured black fiberglass liner. Matching black steps come with it to help you get in.
The tub arrives fully assembled on a pallet, ready once it is set level and filled. The separate chiller and heater lets you adjust the water temperature from its touchscreen or a phone app over Wi-Fi. It also includes an ozone sanitizer and an external water filter. FAQ
How cold does the water get, and can it heat too?
The SaunaLife S1BC cools water down to 32.5 degrees and heats it up to 108 degrees. The included chiller and heater handles both cold plunges and hot soaks.
What power does the chiller need?
A regular 120 volt household outlet is all it needs, and it comes with its own GFCI cord. No electrician is needed. Keep the chiller in the shade with open air around its fan.
How is the water kept clean?
An ozone sanitizer and an outside filter cartridge help keep the water clean, and you rinse or replace the cartridge. Wipe the liner with household detergent and a soft cloth, avoid chlorine based cleaners, and keep a cover on. Drain and refill through the 1 inch drain when the water needs refreshing, and follow the chiller's water treatment instructions on the Manual tab.
Can it stay outside in winter?
Yes, the tub can stay outdoors year round, but the chiller runs only in outdoor air from 59 to 109 degrees for cooling and 59 to 95 degrees for heating. In cold months, move the chiller indoors or shut it down and drain it. Drain the tub before a hard freeze.
What base does it need?
The right base depends on your property, but it must be level and stable. SaunaLife's manual calls for placement at least 3 inches above the surrounding ground, on concrete blocks over compacted gravel or on a terrace. Oil the wood once a year with exterior wood oil.
Does the tub arrive assembled?
Yes, the tub arrives fully assembled with round stairs, and the chiller connects using two hoses and the 3/4 inch NPT fittings. Freight delivery is by appointment on a wooden pallet, curbside only, and the driver lowers it to the ground, so have two or three people ready to carry the pieces to your setup spot. Inspect the crate before signing and note any damage on the receipt.
Is a cover included?
No, the matching insulated S1 or S2 cover is sold separately on this site, rather than as an add on on this page. A cover keeps leaves out and helps the chiller run less.
How many people fit?
One person fits in the tub. The basin is 34.4 inches across and 36 inches deep.

Flat Rate Tub Package Freight: $695 flat rate shipping to the contiguous United States. $895 for Canada. A chiller ships for free when shipping together. On rare occasions, remote or complex delivery areas may not qualify for these rates.
About This Delivery: The weight and packaging of this handcrafted tub require delivery by special appointment. It arrives on a wooden pallet encased in wood for solid protection. The driver is responsible for “curbside delivery only” and will lower the item to ground level. Prior to shipping this product, we often contact customers to share shipment details and discuss any extenuating delivery circumstances that may complicate or cause additional delivery expenses.

We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
