Detroit Radiant MWC-16 Variable Heat Controller: turn one or two small heaters on, off, up or down
The Detroit Radiant MWC-16 Variable Heat Controller is a knob control for 120 volt electric heaters with a combined output of up to 1,600 watts. Turn the knob to switch the heat on or off, or dial it up or down. It fits the BAH and the ELX and ELD models that use medium wave elements, the parts that give off heat. Detroit Radiant builds these controls for its own heaters, so the wiring and voltages match.
Use one controller for one or two small heaters within that combined wattage limit. You do not need a contactor, a separate electrical switching device. The controller mounts in a small box about 5 by 5 inches. Need the 208 and 240 volt version? See the Detroit Radiant MWC-32 Variable Heat Controller. The Detroit Radiant MWC-16 Variable Heat Controller ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.
