Fire Magic Flush Double Doors with Dual Drawers: four drawers behind two doors
The Fire Magic Flush Double Doors with Dual Drawers is a pair of doors with two stacks of drawers behind them, for an outdoor kitchen island. Flush means the door and drawer fronts close inside the frame, level with the face of the island, instead of sitting on top of it. The fronts are filled with foam so they feel solid, they shut softly on a magnetic latch, and a rain guard around the frame keeps water out of the cabinet. Fire Magic builds it in the USA from 304 stainless steel, the grade that holds up best outdoors. It needs an opening 21 inches high, 30.5 inches wide, and 20.5 inches deep. It suits an island where rows of drawer fronts would look busy.
Behind each door are two drawers, four in all, so the face of the island shows two handles and the tools stay sorted. A utensil bin in the top drawer keeps tongs, a brush, and a thermometer sorted. It has no louvers, so a propane cylinder goes behind one of Fire Magic’s louvered tank doors instead. Fire Magic covers it for three years. Want a trash bay instead of one drawer stack? FAQ
What is behind the flush double doors?
Two sets of dual drawers with a utensil bin, one set behind each door, in a Premium Flush 304 stainless frame with heavy-duty handles on polished mounts, magnetic latches, foam-filled fronts and a continuous rain guard. The description notes most 5-Series pieces soft close.
What cutout does it need?
Cut the enclosure 21 inches high, 30 1/2 inches wide and 20 1/2 inches deep, per the Specifications tab, the Fire Magic spec guide and the doors and drawers manual. Provide a level rear support about 1/8 inch higher than the front opening so the drawers run level.
Is there a tank tray version?
Yes. The 53930SC-12 puts a tray bay behind one door and dual drawers behind the other, and the 53930SC-12T adds louvers for propane storage; both are listed separately. This 53930SC-22 has drawers behind both doors. See other Fire Magic storage here.
How is it installed?
Release the drawers from their slides, fasten the frame through its slots with the supplied brackets or long screws into the island wall, then re-engage the drawers, per the manual, with silicone caulk behind the frame.
How does the 53930SC-22 differ from the Select version?
The Select 33930S-22 has the same layout and 21 by 30 1/2 by 20 1/2 inch cutout but mounts outside the opening with slim tubular handles, while this Premium Flush unit closes flush with foam-filled fronts, polished handle mounts and soft close. The spec guide warrants the flush unit for three years and the Select for two.
