Majestic Twilight: one fire for the living room and patio
The Majestic Twilight is a see through gas fireplace set in an outside wall. See-Through means one side faces the living room and the other faces the patio. It comes in one size, with a window about 36 by 21 inches on each side. Split logs give it a traditional look. The vent runs out the back, leaving room for a window above. It puts out up to 38,000 BTU to warm the living space.
It is set up for natural gas, and a propane conversion kit is on the page. Direct vent means a sealed pipe runs to the outside. It brings in air for the fire and carries the exhaust out, so the fire never uses the air in your room. It lights with a button. On the page you pick a black firescreen or black modern front. You can add a touchscreen remote, a fan, or a wood mantel or stone surround. Prefer a more modern look? See the Majestic Twilight Modern gas fireplace. The Majestic Twilight ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
Can I design windows above the fire?
Yes, and that is one of this fireplace’s signature moves. The Twilight’s venting arrangement frees the wall above the firebox, so you can stack windows over the flames and expand the fireside view instead of burying it in framing. Fire below and garden or sky above, visible from both sides.
How much fire shows on each face?
The viewing area measures 35-5/8 by 21-1/2 inches, and since this is a true see-through, the room side and the patio side each get that same framed view. It is a comfortable middle scale, substantial enough to anchor a wall yet trim enough to share that wall with windows or built-ins.
How does the Twilight differ from the Twilight Modern?
Same idea, different wardrobe. Both place one see-through fire between an indoor room and an outdoor space; this Twilight takes the classic route, styled to settle into traditional and transitional homes, while the Modern leans contemporary. If your interior favors warmth over minimalism, this is your version among our see-through fireplaces.
What heat rating does the burner carry?
It is rated at 38,000 BTU per hour on natural gas. One burner serves both faces, so the living space warms on one side while the patio side gets a genuine fire to gather around, and the rating works harder in daily life than the bare number on the spec sheet suggests.
How much framed wall does the installation occupy?
Plan on a framing width of 44 inches, a framing height of 47-5/8 inches, and a framing depth of 23 inches. It pays to settle those numbers early, because this is the wall that may also carry the windows-above-the-fire treatment, and the two designs need to be drawn together.
How do you adjust the flame from either space?
IntelliFire Touch runs the show, through a touchscreen remote control or a wireless wall switch, whichever suits the way you live. Turn the fire up for a chilly evening on the patio or ease it down from the sofa, all without crossing to the other side of the wall.
Can you use an indoor outdoor fireplace in the winter?
That is when it earns its keep. The Twilight is built for yearlong enjoyment from either side: through the cold months the indoor face keeps the living room glowing, and on crisp evenings the outdoor face turns the patio back into usable space. One firebox covers the whole calendar.
