Majestic WarmMajic-D: a wood burning fireplace built for overnight heating
The Majestic WarmMajic-D is an EPA certified wood burning fireplace that works as a real heater inside your home. EPA certified means it burns wood so cleanly and completely that it counts as a heater, not just a fireplace. The firebox holds wood logs up to 22 inches long and is sized for overnight heating. You get a wood fire that does more than look good. It heats 1,000 to 2,600 square feet.
Your builder frames a wall around it, runs the chimney, and finishes it in stone, tile, or brick. The chimney pipe is sold separately, so ask us to quote the run. On the page you can add a black mesh firescreen, an outside air kit, or Heat Zone. Heat Zone is a duct kit that carries warm air from the fireplace to another room, so you can turn the furnace down. Is this an EPA-certified fireplace?
Yes. The Features tab lists EPA 2020 certification, the strictest wood burn standard, and the Specifications tab rates it for 1,000 to 2,600 square feet. It is listed to UL 127 and ULC S610 per the architect guide, so it is approved for both US and Canadian installations when installed to the manual.
How much wood does it hold and how long does it burn?
The firebox is 2.7 cubic feet and takes logs up to 22 inches long, which the Features tab says is sized for overnight heating. Fill it with dry, seasoned wood before bed and it is built to carry a fire through the night rather than needing a restart every couple of hours.
How does the Heat Zone option work?
Heat Zone ducts warm air from the fireplace to another room so you can turn the furnace down. On this page the Heat Zone and the heat distribution kit both sit under Venting and Hearth; the selector shows their prices, and the installation manual explains the duct runs and the clearances they need.
What are the opening and framing dimensions?
The fireplace opening is 37 by 31-1/8 inches. The unit measures 40 inches wide, 40-1/2 inches tall and 23-1/2 inches deep; framing is 42-1/2 wide, 56-3/4 tall and 24 inches deep, with drywall thickness added if the chase is finished inside. The guide also notes a 24 inch minimum finished cavity depth.
Does the WarmMajic need outside air and which chimney?
Outside air is required, and the page offers the outside air elbow kit under Venting and Hearth. The chimney is SL300 series with a chimney air kit, or DuraPlus with its base plate; allow 14-1/2 or 16 inches of cavity depth respectively and keep 2 inches of clearance around the pipe all the way up.
How high can the mantel go and how big is the hearth?
A combustible mantel is positioned 60 inches above the base of the fireplace with a 12 inch depth, and a non-combustible mantel can sit as low as 1 inch above the front. The hearth extension must be 20 inches in front and 8 inches to each side of the fuel opening. Other wood burning indoor fireplaces list their own limits.
Which accessories are on the page?
A black mesh firescreen, a hearth extension kit, a metal finishing template for trimming the wall finish, a lintel bar and a choice of 59 inch wood mantel shelves or 60 and 72 inch non-combustible shelves. Each is priced on its selector, so the total updates as you configure the order.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. She was always super responsive and helpful throughout the process. Don't kid yourself, getting a really nice sauna is not that easy. Sizing and heating need to be figured out, as does the building, but we have always had a helpful partner on our side. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
