The Outdoor Plus 12 inch wide rectangular drop-in pan and switchback bullet burner fills long fire pits end to end with flame. Made in the USA, its stainless pan comes in lengths from 24 to 96 inches. Its lip rests on your opening’s rim, hanging inside the enclosure and holding lava rock or fire glass. The zigzag tube’s upright bullet ports give taller, fuller flames than drilled tubes.
Order it for natural gas or propane. Light it with a match, or add electronic ignition and start it with a button. What sets the switchback bullet apart from a plain switchback?
The ports. A standard switchback breathes flame in a soft serpentine ribbon; this one lines the winding tube with machined bullet ports, so the path across the 12-inch drop-in pan becomes a weave of sharp, distinct jets. Same coverage, far more definition — and better resistance to media-dust clogging.
Which lengths can I get, and under what SKUs?
Seven sizes from 24 by 12 to 96 by 12 inches: OPT-BP1224SBDSS through OPT-BP1296SBDSS. All share the 12-inch pan width and drop into a rim-supported cut-out — the spec sheet lists exact opening dimensions per length.
What ignition choices fit the Switchback bullet burner?
Match Lit, Match Lit with Flame Sense (LC certified), Flame Sense with Spark, Low Voltage Electronic (CSA certified) and Plug and Play (CSA certified). Watching a match-lit flame chase the serpentine of bullet ports is genuinely theatrical; the electronic tiers trade the ritual for a wall switch.
What is the shutdown routine?
Turn the key valve closed — or flip the electronic control off — and every jet on the winding tube dies at once. No water, no ash, no smolder. Let the recessed 12-inch pan cool before covering, and the media bed needs nothing else until the next burn.
Is a serpentine of jets expensive to run?
It uses what its length demands: the 24-inch OPT-BP1224SBDSS is a modest draw, the 96-inch version is a centerpiece with a centerpiece’s appetite. Spec sheet ratings per size let your installer project natural gas or propane costs for your actual burn habits.
Can a first-time builder base a whole fire pit on this?
Yes — that is the point of the component route. The engineered pan, burner and ignition remove every hard problem from building a fire pit; what remains is masonry to your taste, in the proportions of any gas fire pit you admire. Gas connection goes to a licensed professional.
We might switch the property to natural gas later — what should we order?
Order for the fuel you will actually run — TOP builds each switchback bullet set for natural gas or liquid propane at the factory, and swapping later is not the design intent. If a fuel change is genuinely coming, time the purchase after the decision, or contact us to talk through it.

A pan & burner kit is the heart of a built-in fire pit or fire table: the pan drops into your enclosure, holds the fire media, and houses the burner. The four pan styles differ in how they sit in the enclosure — and in the finished look they create.

We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
