The Outdoor Plus 8 inch wide rectangular flat pan and linear burner is the insert for a narrow fire trough along a seat wall, bar, or planter. The pan is a flat stainless plate with no rim, 8 inches wide, that lays over the enclosure and hides under lava rock or fire glass. One straight drilled tube runs down the middle for a clean ribbon of flame. Lengths run 24 to 96 inches, made in the USA.
Order it for natural gas or propane. Light it with a match, or add electronic ignition and start it with a button. Need it even slimmer? What does the 8-inch width buy me over the 6-inch pan?
A wider media bed and a fuller flame presence. With the 8-inch flat pan there is more fire glass either side of the stainless linear burner, so the fire looks anchored in the feature rather than perched on a slot. Same nine lengths, 24 through 96 inches.
Which part numbers cover this set?
OPT-REFS824 through OPT-REFS896, spanning 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, 60, 72, 84 and 96-inch lengths. The specification sheets list both 6 and 8-inch pan widths, so double-check you are on the 8-inch line before matching a cut-out to it.
How much upkeep does the stainless burner need?
Very little — that is the argument for stainless. Keep the linear burner ports clear of debris, rinse off pool splash or heavy pollen occasionally, and let it dry before covering. No patina, no refinishing; the OPT-REFS8 series is essentially a set-and-forget component.
Can a feature built with this pan sit on a wood deck?
It can, if the enclosure is engineered for it: non-combustible construction, the clearances from the spec sheet, and a proper barrier between burner heat and the deck framing. Gas features are deck-friendlier than wood fires, but have your installer sign off on the design first.
How hot does a linear burner like this get?
Hot enough that flame height and heat output scale with the length you order — a 96-inch OPT-REFS896 warms a whole seating wall. Exact ratings per size are on the spec sheet; whichever you choose, keep furniture and combustibles outside the listed clearances.
What is the fastest way to build a fire table around it?
Frame the table, cut an opening sized to the 8-inch pan, set it in, and finish the top in tile or stone — the exact anatomy of a production fire pit table, minus the markup. Your gas professional runs the line and mounts the key valve.
Can I put an outdoor rug near the finished fire feature?
Keep rugs and other combustibles outside the clearances in the spec sheet — never under or against the enclosure. Radiant heat off an 8-inch linear flame travels farther than people expect. Hard surfaces like pavers or concrete around the feature are the safer framing.

We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
