The Outdoor Plus 12 inch wide rectangular flat pan and H burner is an insert for long rectangular fire pits. The rimless stainless plate rests atop the enclosure beneath lava rock or fire glass. Two full-length drilled tubes join centrally like an H, giving even flames along both sides. Made in the USA, it comes 24 to 96 inches long by 12 inches wide.
Order it for natural gas or propane. Light it with a match, or add electronic ignition and start it with a button. For a lipped opening, try the 12-inch drop-in pan with H burner, which hangs inside the enclosure. What does the H pattern do that a straight burner cannot?
The stainless H burner runs two parallel rails linked by a crossbar, pushing flame toward both long edges of the 12-inch pan. A single straight tube leaves wide shoulders of unlit media; the H fills the pan visually, which is why it is the default for wider rectangular features.
What sizes can I order this pan and H burner in?
Nine lengths from 24 to 96 inches — SKUs OPT-REFD1224 through OPT-REFD1296 — with the spec sheets covering both 12-inch and 18-inch pan widths. The 12-inch version here suits walls and tables where you want real flame body without an oversized cut-out.
Which ignition systems are available on the OPT-REFD series?
Five tiers: pan and burner only for match lighting, Match Lit with Flame Sense (LC certified), Flame Sense with Spark, Low Voltage Electronic (CSA certified) and Plug and Play (CSA certified). Flame Sense versions shut gas off if the flame blows out — worth it in windy yards.
How would I build a propane fire pit with this kit?
Order the set built for liquid propane, frame your enclosure with ventilation for the tank or run a buried LP line, then drop the flat pan across the opening. It is the proven skeleton of a custom gas fire pit — a licensed installer makes the connections and leak-tests everything.
How far from the house should the finished feature sit?
Follow the clearances in the OPT-REFD spec sheet and your local code — many jurisdictions want gas features roughly 10 feet from structures, though listed clearances can allow closer. Decide placement before running gas; moving a 96 by 12-inch feature later is nobody’s idea of fun.
Does the 12-inch H burner come as propane or natural gas?
Whichever you specify — every 12-inch H burner set is built to order for natural gas or liquid propane. There is no field-flip between fuels, so confirm what the property has (or what your installer plans to run) before you order the pan.
Can you make s’mores over a gas fire pit like this?
Absolutely — the clean flame off the H burner is arguably better for s’mores than wood, since there is no smoke to flavor the marshmallow. Toast above the flame tips, keep graham cracker assembly off the pan edge, and brush sugar drips off the media when cool.

We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
