Bayside Fire Pit: a low powder-coated fire pit with soft corners in 36, 48, or 60 inches
The Outdoor Plus Bayside fire pit is a low gas fire pit with a boxy shape, softly rounded corners, and a flat ledge on every side for drinks, made in the USA from heavy steel with a baked-on powder coat in many colors. It comes in 36, 48, and 60 inch sizes, so it works for a small patio or a full seating circle.
Order it for natural gas or propane. Light it with a match, or add electronic ignition and start it with a button. The burner, pan, hose, fittings, and lava rock are included; a key valve and cover are optional. Want a longer flame? The Cove fire pit stretches up to eight feet. The Bayside fire pit ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
What sizes does the Bayside Fire Pit come in?
Two — a 36-inch and a 48-inch, each documented on its own specification sheet linked right on the Bayside product page. Both wear The Outdoor Plus’s durable powder-coat finish, sized for intimate patios and mid-size seating circles respectively.
Where do I find full dimensions and technical details?
The Bayside’s product tab links dedicated 36-inch and 48-inch specification sheets with the complete drawings. If anything there doesn’t answer your install question — clearances, weights, cutout details — reach out to us and we’ll pull the answer for you before you order.
Can I get the Bayside for propane or natural gas?
Your call — like every The Outdoor Plus gas feature, the Bayside is built to order for liquid propane or natural gas, so you specify fuel at purchase. Tell us what your patio supplies and the correct setup ships from the factory.
How do you light a gas fire pit like the Bayside?
Depends on the ignition configured: match lit means opening the valve while holding a long lighter to the burner, while electronic systems reduce the Bayside to a button press. Either way, light promptly once gas flows — never let it accumulate first.
Can the Bayside sit on a wood deck?
Gas gives it a fighting chance where wood-burning pits are ruled out entirely — no embers. You’ll still want confirmed deck load capacity, a non-combustible pad beneath the 36- or 48-inch Bayside, and clearances signed off by your installer and local code.
Is rain going to damage the powder coat?
No — powder coating is an oven-cured finish made for outdoor living, and the Bayside will shrug off rain for years. The practical tip is about the burner: let it dry out after weather before lighting, and use a cover for long idle stretches.
Can marshmallows be toasted over the Bayside flame?
Absolutely — the Bayside’s gas flame is clean, so marshmallows toast without smoke or soot. It’s one of the underrated joys of a gas fire pit: instant-on dessert heat, and when the s’mores are done, one valve turn ends the night.
