Mesa Fire Pit Table: a rectangular metal fire table with a tank door, 48 to 84 inches
The Outdoor Plus Mesa fire pit table is a table-height gas fire pit with sides that taper outward, a narrow ledge around the flame, and a hinged door in the end for a propane tank. It is handmade in the USA in 48, 60, 72, and 84 inch lengths, in hammered copper, Corten steel, stainless steel, or powder-coated steel in many colors.
Order it for natural gas or propane. Light it with a match, or add electronic ignition and start it with a button. A key valve, canvas cover, stainless lid, glass wind guard, bullet burner upgrade, and fire glass are optional. Want a lower, longer line of fire? See the La Jolla fire pit. The Mesa fire pit table ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
What makes the Mesa a fire pit table rather than a fire pit?
The format — the Mesa is built as a table with fire at its heart, giving you ledge space around the flame for drinks and plates. It comes in four metals: hammered copper, Corten steel, stainless steel, and powder coat, so the same table can read rustic, industrial, or modern.
What lengths and SKUs does the Mesa table come in?
Four lengths — 48, 60, 72, and 84 inches — in every finish: copper OPT-CPRTT4824 through OPT-CPRTT8424, Corten OPT-CSTT, stainless OPT-SSTT, and powder coat OPT-PCTT series. The 48-inch Mesa serves an intimate seating group; the 84-inch stretches into full entertaining territory.
Which ignition options does the Mesa table offer?
Five: Match Lit, Match Lit with Flame Sense (LC certified), Flame Sense with Spark, Low Voltage Electronic (CSA certified), and Plug and Play (CSA certified). Because the Mesa doubles as furniture used nightly, the CSA-certified electronic systems tend to earn their upgrade cost quickly.
Can you toast marshmallows at the table?
That is half the fun of a fire table — the Mesa flame is clean-burning gas, so marshmallows toast without smoke or ash, and the surrounding tabletop ledge holds the crackers and chocolate. Keep skewers above the flame and drips on the plates, not the media.
What is the end-of-evening shutdown?
Turn the Mesa key valve and the flame is out instantly — nothing smolders, nothing needs water. Close the propane tank or gas line valve, clear any dishes from the ledge, and once the media cools, cover the table if rain or leaf-fall is on the way.
Can the Mesa fire table sit on an outdoor rug?
Better not — even in table form, the Mesa carries an open burner whose radiant heat is more than synthetic rug fibers should live under. Set it on pavers, stone, or concrete, and arrange rugs under the surrounding chairs where they add comfort without risk.
Do I choose the fuel when ordering?
Yes — each Mesa is built to order for Liquid Propane or Natural Gas, selected at checkout like every fire pit table in our lineup. Dining setups tend to be permanent, so most Mesa owners plumb natural gas and forget about tanks entirely.
