36-inch Chat fire bowl: a wider half-sphere bowl at chair-side height
The American Fyre Designs 36-inch Chat fire bowl has a deep half-sphere shape, measuring 36 inches across and 16.5 inches tall. It rests on a small notched foot, so the fire sits at armrest height next to your chairs. Cast in concrete reinforced with glass fibers, it looks like stone at a fraction of the weight and comes in seven colors.
Order it for natural gas or propane. Turn the knob and press the igniter to light it, or add the Fyrestarter Bluetooth control and start it from your phone. The 12-inch stainless steel star burner, pan, fittings, and lava granules are included, and you pick the fill on the page: lava, fire glass, or glass gems. Will the 36-inch Chat fit my seating area?
Its footprint is a 36-inch circle standing 16.5 inches tall, so start there: the bowl itself claims a three-foot round, and the chairs around it define the rest. In practice a medium patio hosts it easily, with the mid-rise height keeping views open across the space while still lifting the flame into the group.
Is the 36 the right Chat size for a bigger group?
It is the middle path. Where the 32-inch Chat suits three or four chairs, the 36 opens the circle to a family-sized ring without demanding the real estate the 48-inch flagship needs. What burner comes fitted in the 36-inch Chat?
A 12-inch stainless steel star burner, mounted at the center of the bowl. It is tuned for atmosphere: a steady, welcoming fire that flatters the gathering rather than roaring over it, exactly the register a conversation-height bowl calls for. Stainless steel keeps the hardware sound through permanent outdoor exposure.
Can the FyreStarter option really light the bowl by Bluetooth?
Yes. The optional FyreStarter electronic ignition is Bluetooth-enabled, so starting the fire becomes a tap rather than a trip out with a lighter. Prefer zero electronics? The standard manual flame sensing control runs the bowl the traditional way. Both configurations carry ANSI certification, so it is purely a convenience decision.
Does this bowl come in both gas types?
It does – natural gas and propane versions are both produced. Pick natural gas where a line reaches the patio and you never think about fuel again; pick propane where plumbing is impractical. Nothing about the bowl’s handcrafted GFRC construction or its flame display changes between the two.
Is the rim actually useful, or just styling?

The Marseille Fire Bowls pair a low-profile silhouette with an extra-wide opening that accommodates more — and more varied — fire media. Standard on every model. A manual battery-powered spark igniter with a thermocouple-equipped control and manual flame height adjustment. If the thermocouple stops sensing a flame, the gas shuts off automatically — regardless of valve position.
FyreStarter Bluetooth Control
This convenient ON/OFF – High/Low electronic system lets you run the fire from your smartphone — just download the app — or manually at the appliance. A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. Sizing and heating need to be figured out, as does the building, but we have always had a helpful partner on our side. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
