DuraVent DuraBlack 90 Degree Elbow: a full corner toward a wall connection
The DuraVent DuraBlack 90 Degree Elbow is an adjustable elbow that turns a stovepipe run from vertical to horizontal. It makes the full corner needed when the route to the chimney goes through a wall. You can adjust the angle to line up the pipe before securing it with screws. DuraBlack is DuraVent’s single wall black stovepipe, the pipe that runs from a wood stove to the chimney inside the room. Choose a diameter of 6, 7, 8, or 10 inches on this page to match your stove’s flue outlet, the opening where smoke leaves the stove.
The elbow and stovepipe stay exposed in the room with the stove. They cannot be enclosed or run through a wall or ceiling. The chimney takes over at that point. If the black finish gets scuffed, you can touch it up with high temperature stove paint. DuraVent advises against this elbow for a stove that vents from the back. Have a rear outlet? Use the DuraVent DuraBlack Tee with Clean Out Cap instead. The DuraVent DuraBlack 90 Degree Elbow ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.
