Fire Magic Flush Electric Warming Drawer: warm plates and sides while the grill finishes
The Fire Magic Flush Electric Warming Drawer is an electric warming drawer for an outdoor kitchen island. Flush means the door and drawer fronts close inside the frame, level with the face of the island, instead of sitting on top of it. The fronts are filled with foam so they feel solid, they shut softly on a magnetic latch, and a rain guard around the frame keeps water out of the cabinet. Fire Magic builds it in the USA from 304 stainless steel, the grade that holds up best outdoors. It needs an opening 14.5 inches high, 32.25 inches wide, and 22 inches deep. It is for cooks with a big grill and a long table.
It keeps plates and side dishes warm while the grill finishes the meat, so everything lands on the table hot. Plan for an outlet in the island on its own circuit. A buffet insert of stainless steel containers with lids is sold on its own page, and turns it into a serving station. Fire Magic covers the drawer for three years and the heating parts for one. For storage without heat in the same opening, see the Fire Magic Flush Large Utility Drawer. The Fire Magic Flush Electric Warming Drawer ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
What does the electric warming drawer do?
It keeps plates and side dishes warm while the grill finishes the main course, in a flush-mounted 304 stainless drawer with a foam-filled front, soft close and a continuous rain guard. A buffet warming accessory, model 23830-SW-CD, adds stainless containers and lids to turn it into a serving station.
What power does it need?
120 volts AC on a 15 amp minimum circuit with a GFCI, per the Specifications tab, drawing 475 watts. Have the electrician place a weatherproof outlet inside the island near the drawer’s cutout, and keep the cord clear of the grill’s firebox and any gas line running through the same enclosure.
What cutout does it need?
Cut the enclosure 14 1/2 inches high, 32 1/4 inches wide and 22 inches deep, per the Specifications tab, the Fire Magic spec guide and the doors and drawers manual, the same opening as the flush large utility drawer. Provide a level rear support about 1/8 inch higher than the front.
Is there a Select version?
Yes. The Select 33830-SW electric warming drawer uses a 13 by 31 by 20 1/2 inch cutout with outside mounting and a slim tubular handle, listed separately at a lower price. See other outdoor warming drawers here.
What warranty covers the 53830-SW?
The Fire Magic spec guide’s warranty table gives Premium Flush 5-Series doors and drawers three years and electronic components one year, so the drawer body is covered for three years and its heating and control parts for one, for the original purchaser in single-family residential use.
