Monessen Aria: a deep vent free gas fireplace for a large room
The Monessen Aria is a vent free gas fireplace built into the wall. It comes 32 or 36 inches wide. Pick the size on the page. The smaller model has a window about 32 by 22 inches. A deep box and clean face keep the flames and your chosen logs in view. It puts out up to 37,000 BTU to heat a large room.
Order it for natural gas or propane. Vent free means it needs no chimney or vent pipe at all, and nearly all the heat stays in the room. Check your local code first, since some areas restrict vent free fireplaces. Millivolt means it has a standing pilot and needs no electricity, so it keeps working when the power is out. IPI means intermittent pilot ignition: it lights the pilot only when you turn the fire on, so no gas burns while the fire is off. Pick one on the page. How much heat does the Aria fireplace deliver?
The Aria is rated at 37,000 BTU per hour on natural gas and 36,000 on propane, and that rating holds for both the 32 and 36 inch models. It is designed for spaces that want generous, efficient warmth, and like other ventless gas fireplaces it keeps that heat in the room instead of sending it up a flue.
How do I choose between the 32 and 36 inch models?
Not by heat, since both models carry the same rating. The difference is the glass: the 32 shows a 32 by 21-3/4 inch viewing area, 760 square inches of fire, while the 36 stretches that to 783 square inches. If your wall has the width, the larger view is the main reward for stepping up.
What framing dimensions do the two sizes need?
Frame an opening 37-1/4 inches wide for the 32 model or 41-1/4 inches for the 36; both need 35 inches of height. Depth differs as well, at 15-1/2 inches for the smaller unit and 17-1/2 inches for the larger, so confirm your wall build-out against the installation manual before closing anything up.
Can a fan kit be added to circulate the warmth?
Yes. Monessen lists the BLOTMC fan kit as an accessory for the Aria, and it is a sensible addition when the fireplace serves a larger space. The kit helps move warmed air out into the room so the generous output actually circulates rather than gathering around the unit itself.
What control systems does this fireplace come with?
The Aria is available in millivolt or IPI control. Millivolt operates without household wiring at the fireplace, while IPI is an intermittent pilot ignition that lights the pilot only when the fireplace is called on. Both are offered on the 32 and 36 inch models, so your installer can match the control to the project.
What does the deeper firebox design do for the flame view?
Quite a lot. The deeper, cleaner design opens up expansive views, so the fire reads big and bold rather than shallow. With glass standing 21-3/4 inches tall on both sizes and a face kept free of distractions, the flames take center stage while the fireplace complements the room around it.

Yes, remote operation comes through the accessory lineup, which includes a basic on-off remote, touch remotes with thermostatic control, and the Signature Command system. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
