The SaunaLife GL6 is a six person outdoor sauna kit and the biggest cabin in the Garden Luxury line. It is built from thermo-spruce, which is spruce baked in a kiln so it shrugs off moisture and lasts longer than plain lumber. The square cabin has a modern look, with black trim, a porch on all four sides, and a front wall of bronze tinted glass. It takes up about 90 by 90 inches of yard. Inside, two rows of benches run the full width, and you can dim the lights from your phone or a remote.
The kit comes with everything for the building, including the walls, roof, floor, porch, glass door and windows, benches, and LED lights. Two people can build it in about two days. The heater is not included, so pick one of the 7 electric heater packages on the page, from 9 to 10.5 kW; each comes with its control and stones. How big is this sauna inside and out?
The cabin is 90.2 inches square outside, standing 92.5 inches tall with its wrap-around eaves, while the sauna room inside measures 69.7 by 69.7 inches with 79.1 inches of height. Two-tier benches run the full 69.7-inch width, seating up to six bathers in the Garden Luxury line’s largest layout.
What does the wrap-around porch add?
The integrated eaves and porch wrap the cabin on a 14.6-inch-deep apron, creating a sheltered, set-back entry with recessed LED lights beneath the eaves to guide you in after dark. It gives the sauna the presence of a small architectural pavilion rather than a box dropped into the yard.
Can this sauna do steam as well as dry heat?
Yes, its heater selector uniquely includes two Harvia Virta Combi 9kW steam-capable options alongside the Saunum Air L 10, Harvia Spirit SP90E, Harvia Cilindro 9kW, HUUM DROP 9kW, and HIVE Mini 10.5kW packages. How well is it insulated?
The walls are 1.57-inch-thick thermally treated Nordic spruce, and the roof build includes EPS insulation under thermo-spruce boards, unusual at this price point, plus self-adhesive roofing felt and black metal flashing for water management. Together they contain heat well enough for efficient year-round bathing.
Is the glass front practical or just for looks?
Both. The full front is tempered bronze glass windows 0.24 inch thick, with a 0.31-inch-thick glass side door carrying a full-height pull. Tempered panes are safety-rated and contain temperature as part of the sealed envelope, while the bronze tint moderates glare and adds daytime privacy without blocking the outward view.
How long does the build take?
Two people with moderate DIY experience can achieve professional results in two days. Interlocking-beam construction keeps the fit exact while allowing natural wood movement, and everything, wall boards, benches, glass, roof boards, insulation, flashing, ventilation and drainage systems, and all fasteners, is in the delivered kit with full instructions.
What comes standard for lighting?
Recessed exterior LEDs are integrated in the eaves, and indirect interior LED lighting washes the wood in a diffuse glow. Both are controlled by the Wi-Fi app or the wireless handheld remote included in the kit, so you can tune the ambiance from the bench or from your phone before you walk out.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. She was always super responsive and helpful throughout the process. Don't kid yourself, getting a really nice sauna is not that easy. Sizing and heating need to be figured out, as does the building, but we have always had a helpful partner on our side. She never upsold us on anything we didn't need, and we got some nice freebies when the sauna was delivered. And now we can really enjoy every moment in our garden.

We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
