Superior DRL6000: a wide linear direct vent gas fireplace with everything built in, up to seven feet
The Superior DRL6000 is a wide linear direct vent gas fireplace built into the wall. Linear means the opening is low and wide, like a letterbox. It comes in widths of 48, 60, 72, or 84 inches. Pick the size on the page. It is the fully loaded version of the DRL4000. The flames rise in a long line through platinum crushed glass.
It is set up for natural gas, and a propane conversion kit is on the page. Direct vent means a sealed pipe runs to the outside. It brings in air for the fire and carries the exhaust out, so the fire never uses the air in your room. The heat runs from 35,000 BTU on the smallest up to 50,000 BTU on the widest, with six flame settings. Electronic ignition lights it with a button, and a battery backup keeps it running when the power is out. A six speed blower, floor lights, and a black porcelain liner are built in. A remote that runs the flame, the blower, the lights, and a thermostat comes in the box. On the page you can add a see through kit that opens the back so two rooms share the fire. On the smallest size there is a version that puts the second side on the patio. A HeatFlo kit carries the heat away from the wall above, so a TV can hang there. Prefer to choose the extras yourself? What sizes does the DRL6000 come in?
48 in, 60 in, 72 in and 84 in linear models on the Size selector, rated 35,000-23,500, 40,000-28,000, 45,000-31,500 and 50,000-35,000 BTU. Framing widths are 55-5/8, 74-1/4, 86-1/4 and 98-1/4 in; the 48 frames 39-1/8 in high and the larger three 48-1/2 in, all 19-1/2 in deep (18-1/2 in as a see-through). Six flame settings give up to a 30 percent turn-down.
How is it different from the DRL4000?
Same firebox sizes and outputs, but the DRL6000 is the fully equipped version: a factory-installed six-speed blower, mood floor lighting, the multi-function remote and a black porcelain liner are all standard, where the DRL4000 offers those as options. Both share the see-through and HeatFlo kits and the electronic ignition with battery backup.
Can it be a see-through fireplace?
Yes, with a kit from the Configuration Kits selector: the indoor see-through kit is offered for every size and the indoor/outdoor kit for the 48 in model only, so the same fire can serve a patio. The fireplace ships one-sided and is converted with the kit; the Specifications tab lists the shallower 18-1/2 in framing depth for see-through installs. See more linear fireplaces.
What is the HeatFlo kit and which one do I need?
HeatFlo ducts convective heat from above the glass to a register higher on the wall, keeping the zone above the fireplace cooler for a TV or artwork. The Configuration Kits selector lists the size-specific kit for your fireplace (HTFLO-LIN60, -LIN72 or -LIN84 on the larger models, the HeatFlo Convection Kit on the 48) plus a 60 in flex extension for taller walls.
Can it be installed where a normal vent will not reach?
The Features tab lists an optional Power-Vent system for down-and-out installations, and the power vent kit instructions are linked in the Manuals tab, so basements or rooms without a straight vent path can still take a DRL6000. The standard unit is a sealed direct vent that runs through the roof or an exterior wall. Ask us to quote the power vent kit; it is not on the selector.
Natural gas or propane?
The DRL6000 ships for natural gas. For propane, choose the electronic NG to LP conversion kit on the Accessories row for your size (an LP to NG kit is there too), to be fitted by a qualified gas technician. The same row carries the driftwood log set, driftwood pieces with rock media, and interior and exterior touch-up paint.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
