Superior Mossy Oak Outdoor: tall mossy oak gas logs on a stainless burner built for the patio
The Superior Mossy Oak Outdoor is a vent-free gas log set for an outdoor fireplace. The concrete logs stand 19 inches tall, with oak bark texture and touches of green moss that look like real firewood in a large outdoor opening. The burner has a stainless steel frame and grate to handle rain and humidity outside. The logs come in lengths of 24, 30, or 36 inches. The set fits Superior’s outdoor vent-free fireboxes and other listed outdoor fireplaces.
The burner is not included. Pick the size on the page. On the page you pick the log size, the fuel, and the burner. Order it for natural gas or propane. Two burners make bright yellow flames. The burner extends up and out to keep the flames tall beside the logs. It puts out up to 40,000 BTU, enough to warm the seating in front of it. The millivolt burner needs no electricity and is remote ready. The electronic burner comes with a remote. You can add a lava rock bed for the base if the fireplace is vented. What is the Mossy Oak Outdoor set?
The outdoor version of Superior’s Mega-Flame series: 19 in tall concrete Mossy Oak logs on a cantilevered triple burner with a stainless steel chassis and grate for weather, in 24, 30 and 36 in sizes. Two burners make bright yellow flames and the optional lava rock flame bed (for vented use only) adds a glowing base.
Is the burner included?
No; it is a required choice on the Burner selector after size and fuel: Millivolt (remote-ready, standing pilot) or Electronic with the RCAF3 on/off, high/low remote. The 30 in logs pair with the 24 in burner and the 36 in logs with the 30 in burner, so the burner labels change with the size you pick.
How much heat does it give?
40,000 down to 29,000 BTU for every size per the Specifications tab, which outdoors means real warmth for the seating area around the fireplace. It is also listed for vented indoor or outdoor fireplaces with the damper clamp from the Accessories row. See more ventless gas logs in indoor versions.
What fireplace does it need?
An outdoor vent-free firebox listed for ANSI Z21.97 sets, such as Superior’s VRE4200 whose manual is linked here, with a front width of at least 32-1/4, 39 or 47 in, 28 in of height and 15-1/2 in of depth for the 24, 30 and 36 in sets per Superior’s vent-free logs brochure.
Natural gas or propane?
Both; pick on the Fuel Type selector and the Burner row shows the matching version at the same price. The Accessories row lists the accessory log kit for Giant Timbers, the lava rock flame bed, volcanic stone, damper clamp, installation kit, black hood, on/off remote and wall switch.
Does it run without electricity?
The millivolt burner does, with a standing pilot that needs no power, ideal where the patio has no outlet. The electronic burner is controlled from the RCAF3 remote; the burner manual linked in the Manuals tab gives its power requirements.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
