Superior WRE6000: a big outdoor wood burning fireplace lined with real kiln fired brick
The Superior WRE6000 is a large outdoor wood burning fireplace. It comes in widths of 36, 42, or 50 inches, with an opening 30 inches tall and brick running right to the face. Pick the size on the page. What sets it apart is the Mosaic Masonry liner. It is real kiln fired firebrick, not a molded panel, so the inside looks like a mason built it. The front and every surface exposed to weather are stainless steel. The firebox is insulated all around. A big smoke dome above the fire pulls the smoke up cleanly. Your contractor frames a structure around it and finishes it in stone, stucco, or brick.
It burns real logs and needs a 12 inch double wall chimney. The chimney pipe is sold separately, so ask us to quote the run. A heavy stainless log grate and stainless mesh screens come with it. On the page you pick the brick liner. It is required. Choose full or split brick, stacked or herringbone, in ivory, midnight, slate gray, or warm red. You can add bi-fold glass doors in ebony. What is Mosaic Masonry on the WRE6000?
A kiln-fired firebrick liner with integrated ash lip that makes this stainless wood fireplace look like true masonry. One liner is required and is chosen on the Brick Pattern selector (full or split brick, stacked or herringbone) and the Brick Color selector (Ivory, Midnight, Slate Grey or Warm Red) for your size; the base price is the firebox.
What chimney does it need?
The IHP 12DM or 12HT double-wall chimney system, with 12HT required in Canada, quoted separately. The massive smoke dome with no visible smoke shelf is built for reliable draft, and the installation manual linked in the Manuals tab sets the minimum and maximum chimney heights for outdoor and indoor installations.
Which sizes are available?
36 in, 42 in and 50 in on the Size selector, each with a 30 in tall brick-to-face opening. Framing per the Specifications tab is 45-1/4, 51-1/4 or 59 in wide, 67-1/8 in high and 28-1/4 to 30-1/8 in deep. The firebox is fully insulated for colder climates and the face and weather-exposed surfaces are 304 stainless steel.
Can I add a glass door?
Yes. The Glass Door selector offers an ebony bi-fold door sized to your model, made for the Mosaic Brick liner; the door instructions are linked in the Manuals tab. Stainless steel mesh screens and a stainless log grate are included. See other Superior outdoor fireplaces for gas alternatives.
Can it burn gas logs instead of wood?
Yes. The Features tab lists optional gas log sets, and Superior’s Dual-Burner vented log manual names the WRE6000 among its certified fireplaces; the vent-free logs brochure is linked in the Manuals tab too. Log sets are separate purchases sized to the 30 in opening.
Is it for outdoor use only?
It is designed for large outdoor applications with stainless steel on the face and every weather-exposed surface, and the Superior wood fireplace homeowner’s guide linked in the Manuals tab covers its operation. Ask your installer to confirm indoor use from the installation manual, which sets the chimney heights and clearances for each case.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. She was always super responsive and helpful throughout the process. Don't kid yourself, getting a really nice sauna is not that easy. Sizing and heating need to be figured out, as does the building, but we have always had a helpful partner on our side. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
