Superior WCT6920: an EPA certified wood burning fireplace with an arched front for smaller rooms
The Superior WCT6920 is an indoor wood burning fireplace that also works as a heater. EPA certified means it burns wood so cleanly and completely that it counts as a heater, not just a fireplace. Its sealed, insulated firebox holds two cubic feet and takes logs up to 19 inches long. It is compact enough for a den or a smaller living room. The front has a traditional arch. Stacked brick panels line the inside, with a cast iron log retainer in front. Ceramic glass in the door lets heat pass into the room, and an air wash keeps the glass clear. It puts out up to 55,000 BTU and heats up to 1,500 square feet.
You control the wood fire with an air lever, and an air boost helps get the wood burning quickly at startup. A variable speed blower and the outside air kit come with it. The chimney pipe is sold separately, so ask us to quote the run. On the page you pick the black front and the arched door, in steel or cast iron. Both are required, and the handle stays cool. You can add a HeatFlo kit that ducts warm air to where you want it. Need to heat a much bigger house? See the Superior WCT6940 EPA wood burning fireplace. The Superior WCT6920 ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
What kind of fireplace is the WCT6920?
A high-efficiency EPA-certified wood heater with an advanced non-catalytic combustion system and variable combustion air control, in a traditional arch-front design with stacked textured refractory panels and a decorative cast iron log retainer. Its compact 2.0 cu ft insulated firebox takes logs up to 19 in and is rated 55,000 BTU, heating up to 1,500 sq ft per the Features tab.
Which door and facade options are there?
Both are required choices: the black facade on the Facades row, and a steel or cast iron black arched door on the Doors row, each with a heat-resistant handle that stays cool. Ceramic glass in the door gives strong heat transfer and the air wash keeps it clear.
What comes included?
The insulated outside air kit, required for use, and a heat-activated 200 CFM variable-speed blower, plus the refractory panels and log retainer. The Snap-Pak chimney system shown on the Smart Sheet in the Manuals tab is quoted separately, as are the HeatFlo convection kit and forced-air duct parts on the selectors.
Can I duct heat to another room?
Yes. The Features tab lists the HeatFlo air kit and a thermostatically controlled forced-air kit with up to three outlets. Add the HeatFlo Kit row and the Damper (BISBD) row parts, 5 in flex duct in 15 ft or 25 ft and the 120 V heat/cool thermostat; the forced-air duct instructions are linked in the Manuals tab. How is it framed and vented?
Framing is 37-1/4 in wide, 56 in high and 25-1/8 in deep per the Specifications tab. It vents through the IHP Snap-Pak chimney system referenced in the Manuals tab, with heights and clearances set by the installation manual linked there; a qualified installer sizes the chimney run.
Why choose an EPA fireplace over an open wood fireplace?
Controlled combustion gives real heating from less wood, longer burns per load and far less smoke, with the glass door closed while it burns; open hearths like the WRT series send most heat up the chimney. The WCT6920 is meant for a room you want to heat, and its air boost makes start-up easy.
