The Outdoor Plus 18 inch wide rectangular flat pan and H burner evenly spreads flame across an 18-inch-wide pit. Made in the USA in lengths of 24 to 96 inches, its rimless stainless plate sits over the enclosure beneath lava rock or fire glass. Two long drilled burner tubes joined by a middle crossbar form an H, carrying flame along both pan edges.

Why go all the way to an 18-inch wide pan?
Presence. The 18-inch flat pan is the widest in this rectangular line, leaving a deep media field around the stainless H burner so the fire reads as a hearth, not a strip. If the feature is the centerpiece of a large patio, this is the width that carries it.
What comes in the box with the OPT-REFD18 set?
The stainless steel 18-inch flat pan and matched H burner, built as one drop-on assembly in your chosen length from 24 to 96 inches — OPT-REFD1824 through OPT-REFD1896. Ignition hardware ships per the option you select; media and the gas run are yours to add.
How do I shut the fire down properly?
Turn the key valve fully closed and the flame dies instantly — no water, no stirring, no waiting, which is the quiet luxury of gas over wood. On electronic versions, switch off at the control. Let the 18-inch pan cool before covering the feature.
Are backyard fire features like this even allowed?
In most areas, yes — gas features are permitted in many municipalities that restrict wood fires, since there is no smoke or ember risk. You will still need a gas permit for the line to the OPT-REFD18 pan and possibly an inspection. Your installer usually handles both.
What ignition should I pick for a feature this size?
All five options are offered, from match lit through CSA-certified Plug and Play. On a wide 18-inch pan, many builders step up to Low Voltage Electronic or Flame Sense versions — reaching across a big media bed with a match gets old, and flame supervision adds a safety net.
Can this anchor a DIY fire table build?
Yes — an 18-inch wide pan turns a masonry table into something close to a resort feature. Frame the top, cut the opening, rest the pan on it and finish the surround; it is the same construction as a high-end fire pit table. Licensed gas hookup, always.
Is a roof or pergola above the feature a problem?
It can be. An 18-inch H burner produces serious vertical heat, so overhead structures must meet the spec sheet clearances and local ventilation rules for covered installations. Open sky is simplest; if you want fire under a pergola, get the clearance math done before building.

A pan & burner kit is the heart of a built-in fire pit or fire table: the pan drops into your enclosure, holds the fire media, and houses the burner. The four pan styles differ in how they sit in the enclosure — and in the finished look they create.

We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
