DuraVent FasNSeal Universal Concentric Kit: exhaust and outside air share one wall opening
The DuraVent FasNSeal Universal Concentric Kit is a vent ending kit for a wall mounted, direct vent gas appliance. Direct vent means the appliance draws its combustion air from outdoors. This kit lets that air come in and exhaust go out through the same opening in the wall. The projecting air inlet can face either right or left, and the kit fits walls 10 to 18 inches thick. FasNSeal is DuraVent’s stainless steel vent for high efficiency gas boilers, furnaces, and water heaters, built to carry pressurized exhaust and its acidic condensate outside.
Choose a 4 inch or 5 inch size on this page. The kit is for natural gas or propane appliances that call for a special gas vent. Before ordering, have your venting professional confirm that the appliance permits a wall exit. The appliance maker sets the allowed vent length and the distances needed between the wall ending and windows or doors. Need a standard wall ending instead? See the DuraVent FasNSeal Standard Wall Mount Insulated Kit. The DuraVent FasNSeal Universal Concentric Kit ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
What is the FasNSeal Universal Concentric Kit?
A through-the-wall concentric termination for direct vent wall-mounted gas appliances: exhaust and combustion air share one wall penetration. Its air-intake snout adjusts to the right or left, and it accommodates wall thicknesses from 10 to 18 inches. It is listed in 4 and 5 inch sizes; choose the size on the selector to match the appliance’s exhaust collar.
Which appliances is it for?
Direct vent, wall-mounted natural gas or propane appliances in Categories II, III or IV, such as condensing boilers and tankless water heaters, whose manual lists a FasNSeal concentric termination. FasNSeal is rated to 480 F and 15 inches water column and listed to UL 1738 and ULC S636. The appliance manual sets the maximum vent length.
Where can it terminate on the wall?
The page points to the installation instructions for horizontal-termination restrictions such as minimum distances from windows and doors; those follow the appliance manual and NFPA 54, covering openings, air inlets, grade, decks and the gas regulator. Position the intake snout away from the exhaust flow direction and any snow build-up.
How is it connected?
The vent pipe joins the termination with FasNSeal’s gasket and built-in locking band, pushed together until half the bead is covered and tightened snug plus a quarter turn, with no sealant. Pitch the horizontal run 1/4 inch per foot back toward the appliance and add a Universal Condensate Drain near the flue collar if the appliance has no internal drain.
Does the concentric termination change the clearance?
The clearance to combustibles for the vent pipe still follows the FasNSeal manual’s table by rated temperature; the kit provides the pass-through for a 10 to 18 inch wall. Confirm the 4 or 5 inch size and any adapter with the appliance manual. Vent lengths, elbows and drains are in the FasNSeal category.
