Its clean-face design features a 20″ viewing height that highlights the flame and media, complete with an upgraded glass wind guard for better flame appearance in any weather.
The firebox and burners are built with robust 304 stainless steel ensuring this fireplace provides you with lasting durability.
Customize with a range of media options like glass embers, crystals, driftwood, oak, and woodland kits for a personal touch.
Plus, select from a selection of LED colors to illuminate the ember bed and wind guard for even more customization.
An optional heat and exhaust management system adds even more flexibility to your outdoor living setup, making the Galaxy™ Outdoor Fireplace a sophisticated, high-performance addition to any patio or outdoor area.

What is the Napoleon Galaxy 50?
The most compact Galaxy: a linear outdoor gas fireplace (GSS50NE) that brings the series’ modern ribbon-of-flame look to smaller patios, courtyards, and outdoor kitchen walls.
Can the Galaxy 50 stay outside all year?
Yes — it is engineered for permanent outdoor installation. Follow the manual’s guidance on keeping the firebox free of water and debris in the off-season and it will weather the seasons well.
Does the Galaxy 50 need any venting?
None — outdoor fireplaces exhaust straight to open air, so there is no vent pipe or chimney. It is strictly outdoor equipment and must never be installed in an enclosed area.
What framing does the Galaxy 50 need?
A minimum opening of 55 in wide x 40.50 in high x 17 in deep — a simple framed cavity in an outdoor wall or island, far lighter construction than any masonry fireplace.
Can you roast marshmallows on the Galaxy 50?
It isn’t built for cooking — sugar and drippings foul the burner and glass media. Treat the Galaxy 50 as your patio’s ambiance and warmth, and keep the s’mores over a fire pit.
Is the Galaxy 50 natural gas or propane?
The GSS50NE ships configured for natural gas. If your outdoor space runs on propane, contact us before ordering and we’ll confirm the right fuel configuration for your installation.
What warranty comes with the Galaxy 50?

Freight Claims Policy
Please follow these very important steps when it comes to Freight Items that are damaged or missing
- Open and inspect the order while the delivery driver is present. If delivery driver does not provide sufficient time to do so, please notate the delivery receipt.
- By signing the delivery receipt without noting any damage or missing items, you confirm that your order arrived complete and in excellent condition.
- Record any damage or missing pieces directly on the delivery receipt.
- Do not discard damaged item(s) or any original packaging. For severe damage, write “Refused due to damage” on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately.
- Report any damage within two business days, including delivery details and photos showing the issue
- Damaged item(s) must be returned within 30 days. Failure to return them will result in a charge to the original payment method.
Return Merchandise Authorization Policy

- Submit your return request within 30 days of delivery.
- You will receive an email within 1-2 business days confirming whether your return request has been approved or denied.
- Please also note that a 20% restocking fee may apply to approved returns
- If approved, you will receive an itemized Return Authorization, return shipping labels (if requested), and detailed instructions within 1–2 business days
- From the date this email is received, you will have 14 days to return the product.
- Once our distributor receives and inspects the returned item(s), your refund will be issued within 1–2 weeks
- Items returned outside of this process or time frame are not eligible for a refund.
