SaunaLife S1NC: a round plunge tub with its chiller and heater
The SaunaLife S1NC is a one person outdoor cold and hot immersion tub in natural wood. The package includes a Finnmark FDC-1A water chiller and heater. Set the water anywhere from 32.5 to 108 degrees Fahrenheit for a cold plunge or a hot soak. The round tub measures 40 inches across and 41.3 inches tall. It arrives fully assembled, with a gray fiberglass liner shaped for comfort and a surround made from heat treated wood. Matching round stairs come with it to help you step into the tub.
You can set the water temperature on the unit’s touchscreen or through a phone app over Wi-Fi. An ozone sanitizer and an external filter help keep the water clear. FAQ
How cold does the water get, and can it heat too?
The SaunaLife S1NC can cool the water to 32.5 degrees and heat it to 108 degrees. You can set the temperature anywhere in that range for a cold plunge or hot soak.
What power does the chiller need?
It plugs into a regular 120 volt household outlet with its own GFCI cord, so no electrician is needed. Keep the chiller in the shade with open air around its fan.
How is the water kept clean?
An ozone sanitizer and an outside filter cartridge clean the water, and you rinse or replace the cartridge. Wipe the liner with household detergent and a soft cloth, avoid chlorine-based cleaners, and keep a cover on between uses. Drain and refill through the 1 inch drain when the water needs refreshing, and follow the chiller's water treatment instructions on the Manual tab.
Can it stay outside in winter?
The tub can stay outdoors year round, but the chiller is rated for outdoor air of 59 to 109 degrees when cooling and 59 to 95 degrees when heating. In cold months, move the chiller indoors or shut it down and drain it. Drain the tub before a hard freeze.
What base does it need?
It depends on your site, but the base must be level and stable. SaunaLife's manual calls for placement at least 3 inches above the surrounding ground, on concrete blocks over compacted gravel or on a terrace. Oil the wood once a year with exterior wood oil.
Does the tub arrive assembled?
Yes, the tub arrives fully assembled with round stairs, and the chiller connects using two hoses and the 3/4 inch NPT fittings. Freight delivery is by appointment on a wooden pallet, curbside only, and the driver lowers the pallet to the ground, so have two or three people ready to carry the pieces to your setup spot. Inspect the crate before signing and note any damage on the receipt.
Is a cover included?
No, the matching insulated cover is sold separately on this site. A cover keeps leaves out and helps the chiller run less.
How many people fit?
One person is the maximum. The basin is 34.4 inches across and 36 inches deep, so consider those dimensions when judging your room to move.

Flat Rate Tub Package Freight: $695 flat rate shipping to the contiguous United States. $895 for Canada. A chiller ships for free when shipping together. On rare occasions, remote or complex delivery areas may not qualify for these rates.
About This Delivery: The weight and packaging of this handcrafted tub require delivery by special appointment. It arrives on a wooden pallet encased in wood for solid protection. The driver is responsible for “curbside delivery only” and will lower the item to ground level. Prior to shipping this product, we often contact customers to share shipment details and discuss any extenuating delivery circumstances that may complicate or cause additional delivery expenses.

We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
