Superior DRL2000: a linear direct vent gas fireplace with a low, wide ribbon of flame in three sizes
The Superior DRL2000 is a linear direct vent gas fireplace built into the wall. Linear means the opening is low and wide, like a letterbox, instead of tall and square. It comes in widths of 35, 45, or 55 inches. Pick the size on the page. The flames rise in a long line through a bed of black reflective crushed glass. The heat runs from 15,000 BTU on the smallest up to 23,000 BTU on the widest.
Order it for natural gas or propane. Direct vent means a sealed pipe runs to the outside. It brings in air for the fire and carries the exhaust out, so the fire never uses the air in your room. Electronic ignition lights it with a button, and a battery backup keeps it running when the power is out. Tile or stone can run right up to the opening, or you can add a black or stainless surround for a drywall finish. You can add a blower, a remote, and driftwood logs for a softer look. On the two wider sizes a HeatFlo kit carries the heat away from the wall above, so a TV can hang there. Want the blower, lights, and remote built in? What sizes and heat outputs does the DRL2000 offer?
Three linear widths on the Size selector: 35 in, 45 in and 55 in, rated 15,000-13,000, 18,000-14,000 and 23,000-19,000 BTU respectively. All three frame at 29 in high and 18 in deep, with framing widths of 35-7/8, 45-7/8 and 55-7/8 in. It is the entry-level linear in the Superior range; the DRL3500 adds a factory blower, lighting and remote on the same footprint.
Is a blower or remote included?
No; both are optional on this model. The Blower selector lists a standard single-speed kit and two variable-speed kits (wall switch or automatic on/off), and the Remotes and Switches selector lists an LCD thermostat remote, a two-button remote, an on/off remote, wall timers, a wall thermostat and switches. Electronic ignition with battery backup is standard.
Can I hang a TV or picture above it?
The Features tab offers the HeatFlo kit for exactly that: it redirects heat from above the glass to a register higher on the wall so heat-sensitive wall hangings stay cooler. It is available for the 45 in and 55 in models only, on the Configuration Kits selector. Clearances for mantels and shelves above the opening are set by the installation manual linked in the Manuals tab.
Natural gas or propane?
Both; pick on the Fuel selector so the correct valve ships (the TEP models are propane). If your supply changes later, the Accessories row for your size lists manual NG to LP and LP to NG conversion kits for a qualified technician to fit. Compare other widths in our linear fireplaces category.
What finishing options does the clean face give me?
The clean-face design has integrated tile stops, so drywall, tile or stone can finish right to the opening. If you would rather frame the opening, the Surround selector adds a black matte or stainless decorative surround sized to your model, and the Liner selector swaps the black painted interior for reflective black porcelain.
What goes on the floor of the fire?
Reflective black crushed glass is included. The Floor Media selector adds blue reflective glass, platinum glass or a 25-piece river rock set, and the Accessories row adds a driftwood log set for a transitional look, sized to the model you chose. Standard tempered glass with a protective screen covers the opening.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. Sizing and heating need to be figured out, as does the building, but we have always had a helpful partner on our side. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
