Superior DRL3500: a linear direct vent gas fireplace with the blower, floor lights, and remote built in
The Superior DRL3500 is a linear direct vent gas fireplace built into the wall. Linear means the opening is low and wide, like a letterbox. It comes in widths of 35, 45, or 55 inches. Pick the size on the page. This is the fully loaded version of the DRL2000. The flames rise in a long line through platinum crushed glass. The heat runs from 18,000 BTU on the smallest up to 28,000 BTU on the widest.
Order it for natural gas or propane. Direct vent means a sealed pipe runs to the outside. It brings in air for the fire and carries the exhaust out, so the fire never uses the air in your room. Electronic ignition lights it with a button, and a battery backup keeps it running when the power is out. A six speed blower is built in to push heat into the room. Lights under the fire have six settings, so the glass glows even with the fire off. A remote that runs the flame, the blower, the lights, and a thermostat comes in the box. You can add a black or stainless surround, a black porcelain liner, and driftwood logs. On the two wider sizes a HeatFlo kit carries the heat away from the wall above, so a TV can hang there. What comes included with the DRL3500?
More than the DRL2000 it is based on: a factory-installed six-speed blower, mood floor lighting with six settings and the multi-function remote (IPI/CPI, thermostat, flame height, blower and lighting) are all standard, along with platinum crushed glass media, tempered glass with a protective screen and a black painted interior. Surrounds, liner, media and a driftwood log set are optional selectors.
Which sizes are available and how much heat do they give?
35 in, 45 in and 55 in linear models on the Size selector, rated 18,000-12,000, 23,000-16,000 and 28,000-19,000 BTU. Framing is 29 in high and 18 in deep for all three, at 35-7/8, 45-7/8 or 55-7/8 in wide. The 45 and 55 in models also accept the HeatFlo kit from the Configuration Kits selector.
Does it work if the power goes out?
Yes. The electronic ignition includes a battery backup so the burner keeps working through an outage; the blower, floor lighting and remote-controlled functions that rely on household power resume when it returns. Plan an electrical supply at the fireplace during framing since the blower is built in.
Can I choose natural gas or propane?
Yes. The Fuel selector offers natural gas (TEN) or propane (TEP) models, so the right valve ships from the factory. Stepper NG to LP and LP to NG conversion kits for a later change are listed on the Accessories row for your size, for installation by a qualified gas technician. Browse more linear fireplaces.
What is the HeatFlo kit for?
It redirects the convective heat that would rise off the glass to a register higher up the wall, protecting a TV, artwork or other heat-sensitive wall hangings above the fireplace. The Features tab limits it to the 45 in and 55 in models; add it on the Configuration Kits selector, and your installer frames the duct per the HeatFlo instructions linked in the Manuals tab.
How can I customise the look?
The Surround selector adds a black matte or stainless surround if you are not finishing flush to the tile stops, the Liner selector swaps the black interior for black porcelain, and the Floor Media selector adds black or blue reflective glass, platinum glass or river rock on top of the included platinum media. A driftwood log set is on the Accessories row.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. Sizing and heating need to be figured out, as does the building, but we have always had a helpful partner on our side. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
