Superior DRC6300: a big direct vent gas fireplace with tall flames over glass and a floor level fire
The Superior DRC6300 is a large direct vent gas fireplace built into the wall. It comes in widths of 40 or 45 inches. Pick the size on the page. The firebox floor sits flush with your hearth, so the fire looks like it is burning right on the floor. Tall flames rise through a bed of reflective crushed glass, and a black porcelain liner mirrors them on every wall. The gas controls are hidden beside the opening, so stone or tile can run neatly around the front.
It is set up for natural gas, and a propane conversion kit is on the page. Direct vent means a sealed pipe runs to the outside. It brings in air for the fire and carries the exhaust out, so the fire never uses the air in your room. It puts out up to 50,000 BTU on the 40 and 57,000 BTU on the 45, with six flame settings. Electronic ignition lights it with a button, and a battery backup keeps it running when the power is out. A remote for the flame comes with it, and so does the porcelain liner. How much heat does the DRC6300 produce?
It is one of Superior’s largest direct vent units: the Specifications tab lists 50,000 down to 26,500 BTU for the 40 in model and 57,000 down to 35,000 BTU for the 45 in, with six flame settings for control. Framing is 50-3/4 in wide by 45 in high for the 40 and 56-7/8 by 50 in for the 45, both 26 in deep. Choose the size on the Size selector.
Is the remote included?
Yes. Unlike the smaller Superior models, the DRC6300 ships with a full-function remote for flame control, and the gas controls are hidden to the side of the opening so the finish can run clean around the flush hearth. Electronic ignition with battery backup keeps it running through a power outage. The only selector rows are Size, Glass Media and Accessories.
What does the interior look like?
A full five-piece black reflective porcelain liner is standard and mirrors the tall yellow flames rising through the reflective crushed glass media. The Glass Media selector adds 5 lb bags of black, blue or platinum reflective glass to top up or change the floor. Ceramic glass on the clean face gives better heat transfer than tempered glass, and a protective screen is included.
Does it need a chimney or can it vent through a wall?
It is a direct vent fireplace, so it uses a sealed coaxial vent that can run up through the roof or out through an exterior wall, and it never draws room air. Vent components are sized and supplied per the installation manual linked in the Manuals tab; a dedicated power-vent version of this platform is documented there too. Can it be converted to propane?
Yes. The unit ships for natural gas; the Accessories row for each size lists an NG to LP conversion kit and an LP to NG kit, plus exterior touch-up paint. Conversion is a job for a qualified gas technician following the manual, and the input rating on propane is listed in that manual rather than on this page.
What is the difference between the DRC6300 and the DRT6300?
They share the same flush hearth firebox, sizes and heat output; the DRC6300 is the contemporary version with crushed glass media and a five-piece porcelain liner as standard, while the DRT6300 is the traditional version built around a split oak log set with liner and andiron choices. Pick the DRC6300 for a modern glass-bed fire, the DRT6300 for a log fire.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
