Superior DRT3000: a mid size direct vent gas fireplace with more heat and a front you choose
The Superior DRT3000 is a direct vent gas fireplace built into the wall. It comes 35, 40, or 45 inches wide, and about 17 inches deep. Pick the size on the page. Inside is a ceramic fiber log set with a yellow flame. Direct vent means a sealed pipe runs to the outside. It brings in air for the fire and carries the exhaust out, so the fire never uses the air in your room. The heat runs from 20,000 BTU on the smallest up to 28,000 BTU on the widest, a step up from the DRT2000 in the same footprint.
Order it for natural gas or propane. On the page you choose the ignition. Millivolt has a standing pilot and needs no electricity. Electronic ignition lights with a button, and a battery backup keeps it running when the power is out. You also pick the front. The plain black Vista frame is the simplest, and the Reflection and Craftsman fronts come in black or warm chestnut. You can add a stacked stone liner and a blower. FAQ
What sizes and outputs does the DRT3000 offer?
35 in, 40 in and 45 in models on the Size selector. The Specifications tab lists 20,000-17,000 BTU for the 35, 24,000 BTU for the 40 and 28,000-27,000 BTU for the 45, framed at 35-7/8, 40-7/8 or 45-7/8 in wide and 18-1/2 in deep. It sits a step above the DRT2000 in heat output on the same mid-size 17 in cabinet.
Millivolt or electronic ignition, and does it need power?
Both are on the Ignition selector. Millivolt lights with a standing pilot and needs no electricity at all; electronic ignition uses household power but includes a seamless battery backup (IPI/CPI switch standard), so it keeps running in a power outage while only the optional blower stops. Choose millivolt for cabins or areas with unreliable power.
Do I need to choose a front?
Yes. The Features tab says a face selection is required, so the Fronts and Trim selector is a mandatory pick for your size: the black Vista inside-fit frame, or the Reflection and Craftsman overlap-fit fronts in black or warm chestnut. A facade stone stop kit for stone finishes, stacked ceramic or porcelain liners and stainless surrounds are the optional rows that follow.
Does the DRT3000 need a chimney?
No. It is a sealed direct vent unit with a combination top/rear flue collar, venting through the roof or an exterior wall with the approved coaxial pipe; room air is never used for combustion. Vent pipe and terminations are supplied per the installation manual linked in the Manuals tab. Compare other Superior gas fireplaces.
Natural gas or propane?
Pick either on the Fuel selector; the model list in the Specifications tab shows the DMP and DEP propane versions. If you change fuels later, the Accessories row for your size and ignition type lists NG to LP and LP to NG conversion kits for a qualified gas technician to install, together with glowing embers and touch-up paint.
What is included with the fireplace?
Tempered glass with a protective screen, the detailed ceramic fiber log set, a black painted interior, the textured powder-coat finish and a 20 year limited warranty are standard. A blower and remote are optional: the Blower selector lists standard and variable-speed kits and the Remotes and Switches selector runs from an LCD thermostat remote to a wall switch.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. Sizing and heating need to be figured out, as does the building, but we have always had a helpful partner on our side. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
