Superior VRE4600: a linear outdoor gas fireplace with crushed glass, color lights, and a see through option
The Superior VRE4600 is a linear outdoor gas fireplace. Linear means the opening is low and wide, like a letterbox. It comes in widths of 36, 48, 60, or 72 inches. Pick the size on the page. It is made of stainless steel for year round outdoor use. The flames rise in a long line through diamond crystal glass. LED lights under the glass shift through the full spectrum of colors, so it glows on a summer night even with the fire off. A double glass shield helps keep wind from blowing the flames around. Vent-free means it needs no chimney or vent pipe at all. The heat runs from 31,000 BTU on the smallest up to 65,000 BTU on the widest.
It is set up for natural gas, and a propane conversion kit is on the page. Electronic ignition lights it with a button from a control box mounted on the wall, which also runs the lights. On the page you can add a see through kit so the fire is open on both sides, a remote, and a stainless cover. You can swap the clear glass for onyx black or sapphire blue. What sizes does the VRE4600 linear outdoor fireplace come in?
36 in, 48 in, 60 in and 72 in on the Size selector, rated 31,000-18,500, 43,500-24,500, 50,000-36,000 and 65,000-42,000 BTU. Framing is 40-1/2, 52-1/2, 64-1/2 or 76-1/2 in wide, 33-3/4 in high and 16-1/4 in deep (15 in as a see-through). Flames rise through diamond crystal glass media over adjustable full-spectrum LED lighting.
Can it be see-through?
Yes. The See-Through Conversion selector adds the see-thru kit for your size, so the fire can be viewed from both a covered patio and, for example, a pool deck, and the Specifications tab lists the shallower 15 in see-through framing depth. How does it cope with wind?
A dual-glass deflector shield protects the flames from wind, which is what lets a linear glass-media fire work outdoors. The rest is stainless steel for weather resistance, and the Cover selector adds a stainless cover sized to your model for the off-season.
How is it controlled?
A wall-mounted control box runs the flames and the interior LED lights, with fuel-saving electronic ignition. The Remote selector adds an on/off, high/low remote (hand-held or wall mount) with CPI/IPI control. The control box and ignition need an electrical supply, so plan power to the fireplace during construction.
Natural gas or propane?
The ZEN models ship for natural gas. For propane, add the NG to LP conversion kit from the Fuel Conversion row for your size, which the Features tab notes is sold separately; a qualified gas technician fits it. Glass media in onyx black, diamond crystal or sapphire blue is on the Glass Media row.
Does it need a chimney?
No. It is a vent-free outdoor fireplace, so no chimney interrupts the view and nothing runs through the roof. Install it per the installation manual linked in the Manuals tab, which covers the outdoor enclosure, clearances and the see-through framing, and keep the deflector shield and media in place.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. Sizing and heating need to be figured out, as does the building, but we have always had a helpful partner on our side. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
