Superior Rugged Stack: vent-free gas logs with a third row of flame behind the stack
The Superior Rugged Stack is a vent-free gas log set that fits in the fireplace you already have. The concrete logs are molded from real wood and stacked like a fresh armload of firewood. A triple burner puts two rows of flame under the logs and a third row behind them, over a glowing ember bed. This gives the fire depth from front to back. The logs come in lengths of 18, 24, or 30 inches, and the set puts out up to 39,000 BTU.
Vent-free means you can run it with the damper closed, so nearly all the heat stays in the room. The burner is not included. Pick the size on the page. On the page you pick the log size, the fuel, and the burner. Order it for natural gas or propane. The millivolt burner needs no electricity and is remote ready. The variable burner comes with a remote that sets five flame heights. The electronic burner comes with a touchscreen remote and a thermostat. What does the Triple-Flame burner do on the Rugged Stack logs?
It runs three burners: two under the logs plus an extra row of flames behind them, over a glowing ember bed, which gives a very deep flame picture. The stacked concrete logs are molded with wood-grain texture in 18, 24 and 30 in sizes on the Size selector, and the set is heater rated at 99 percent efficiency.
Is the burner included?
The burner is a required pick on the Burner selector after size and fuel: Millivolt (remote-ready), Variable with the ProFlame remote (five flame heights, thermostat mode) or Electronic with the EcoFlow touchscreen remote. The 30 in logs use the 24 in burner, so its options carry that label. The listing price is the log set.
How much heat and what fireplace size?
30,000 down to 21,000 BTU for the 18 in set and 39,000 down to 28,000 BTU for the 24 and 30 in sets. Minimum fireplace width is 28, 32 or 40 in with 19 in of height and 14 in of depth per the Specifications tab. Use the burner manual’s ventilation-air calculation to match the input to the room.
Vent-free or vented?
Both. Vent-free with the damper closed sends all the heat into the room; the set is also listed for vented use with the Damper Clamp (required if vented) from the Accessories row. Local codes decide whether vent-free operation is allowed. See more ventless gas logs styles.
Natural gas or propane?
Both, chosen on the Fuel Type selector; the Burner row then shows the natural gas or propane version of the Millivolt, Variable or Electronic burner at the same price so the right burner ships with the Rugged Stack logs. No conversion kit is listed, so settle the fuel before ordering and tell your installer which version arrived.
What extras are on the Accessories row?
An on/off remote with wall plate, a thermostatic remote, a touch screen remote, a wall-mount thermostat and an on/off wall switch for the millivolt burner, plus volcanic stone, a lava, ember and cinder floor media kit, the damper clamp, a gas appliance installation kit and a black fireplace hood.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
