What does a lipless square pan let me do that others cannot?
Finish the feature as if the fire were carved from it. With no rim, tile or plaster runs flush to the square media bed, and the stainless square burner rings the opening — masonry, then glass, then a clean square of flame. It is the most architectural of the square pan styles.
What sizes does the OPT-LTSQR series come in?
Six squares: 16.5, 18, 24, 30, 36 and 48 inches — OPT-LTSQR16 through OPT-LTSQR48. Flush installation means the surround gets built to the pan, so pick the size early; the 24 and 30-inch pans suit columns and tables, the 48 anchors a full fire pit.
Why a square burner instead of a round one in this pan?
Symmetry to the edge. The square burner traces the pan’s perimeter, so flame reaches all four sides evenly — a round burner centered in a square bed leaves the corners dark. When the design is flush and geometric, matching burner to pan is what completes it.
What ignition levels does the lipless square pan offer?
Match lit pan-and-burner, Match Lit with Flame Sense (LC certified), Flame Sense with Spark, Low Voltage Electronic (CSA certified) and Plug and Play (CSA certified). Flush square installs often pair with Low Voltage Electronic so the surface stays untouched and the feature lights from a switch.
How do we extinguish it safely?
Close the key valve or switch off the electronic control and the square ring of flame drops out instantly — nothing to douse or stir. Allow the flush media bed to cool before covering. That instant-off is a real advantage over wood in tight square installations.
Can a homeowner really build a fire pit around this?
Yes — the engineered pan removes the hard parts. Frame a square enclosure, set the OPT-LTSQR flush during finishing, add glass, and you have the working core of a custom gas fire pit. The one non-negotiable: a licensed gas professional runs and tests the fuel line.
Are s’mores doable over a square burner?
Nicely — the perimeter flame gives everyone around the feature their own stretch of fire, so nobody jockeys for the middle. Clean-burning gas means no smoke flavor. Hold marshmallows above the flame ring and keep drips off the flush glass bed; it wipes clean once cool.

We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
