The Outdoor Plus 8 inch wide rectangular flat pan and brass linear bullet burner is a slim, USA-made trough burner. The rimless stainless steel plate lies over your enclosure beneath lava rock or fire glass. It’s 8 inches wide and 24 to 96 inches long. A centered straight tube has upright brass bullet ports for a tall flame along its full length.

What is a bullet burner on this 8-inch flat pan set?
Instead of plain drilled holes, the brass linear bullet burner uses raised, machined bullet ports that throw a taller, crisper flame and resist clogging from fire glass dust and moisture. Across the 8-inch wide flat pan it reads as one clean ribbon of fire down the whole length.
Which lengths does the brass linear bullet set come in?
Seven lengths, all 8 inches wide: 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84 and 96 inches, SKUs OPT-BFP24RT through OPT-BFP96RT. Measure your finished opening before ordering — the flat pan rests on top of the enclosure, so it needs solid bearing on all sides.
Can I get this set with electronic ignition?
Yes. Beyond basic match lit, the OPT-BFP series is offered with Match Lit with Flame Sense (LC certified), Flame Sense with Spark, Low Voltage Electronic (CSA certified), or Plug and Play (CSA certified). Choose the ignition when you order — it is built into the pan, not added later.
Why choose the brass burner over stainless?
Brass is the longevity pick. It is denser than stainless and highly corrosion resistant, so it shrugs off coastal salt air and pool chemistry that slowly pit steel. If the feature sits near saltwater or you simply never want to think about the burner again, the brass bullet ports earn their price.
How do I build a fire pit around a flat pan like this?
Frame an enclosure in concrete block or steel stud, run gas to a key valve, then set the 8-inch flat pan across the opening — it is the engineered shortcut that turns plain masonry into a finished gas fire pit. Have a licensed gas professional make the final connections.
What media goes over the brass bullet burner?
About an inch of fire glass or lava rock — enough to hide the brass linear bullet ports without smothering the flame. Never substitute pea gravel or river rock; trapped moisture can cause ordinary stone to crack or pop when the burner heats up.
Can this setup run under a covered patio?
Only if the structure satisfies the clearance-to-combustibles and ventilation requirements in the OPT-BFP spec sheet and your local code — overhead height matters most. Many builders keep these 24-inch to 96-inch pans in open-air features instead. Ask your gas installer to confirm clearances before you frame anything.

We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
