Choose the Original base, which bolts to any 2.5 inch post and has a built-in needle valve to adjust flame height, or the TOP-Lite base, which threads onto half-inch gas pipe. Order it for natural gas or propane. Prefer open petals? See the Flower fire torch. FAQ
How big is the Global Fire Torch?
At 10 inches in diameter, the Global is the widest head in TOP’s torch line – a full globe of hand-crafted stainless steel, 14 inches tall, rated to 20,000 BTU. Where the slender torches whisper, the Global makes a statement you can see across a property.
What SKUs does the Global come under?
OPT-TT2M for the match-lit Original with its built-in needle valve, and OPT-TCH2SS for the TOP-Lite version designed for electronic ignition. Both carry the same 10-inch spherical head; the difference is entirely in how you light the Global.
Do I need fewer Globals than smaller torches?
Usually, yes. Because the Global’s 10-inch sphere carries so much visual weight, you can space posts 10 to 12 feet apart – or use a single pair where smaller heads would need four – and still anchor the scene, the way one generous gas fire pit can hold a whole patio.
Which ignition should I pick for the Global?
Match lit (OPT-TT2M) is the simple, power-free route with precise needle-valve flame control. TOP-Lite (OPT-TCH2SS) is designed for electronic ignition, which earns its keep when a bank of Global torches should light together on command.
What is required to mount the Global torch?
A standard 2 1/2-inch post, hex bolts, and a gas connection at the 3/8-inch flared inlet – the same universal fitting as every TOP torch. Given the Global’s presence, sturdy posts around 7 feet look proportionate; your licensed installer makes the final call.
Will the Global hold up outdoors year-round?
That is what its high-grade stainless steel is for – the Global lives outside through rain, sun, and winter without a flinch. Close the gas ahead of storms, since heavy rain can put the flame out, and give the sphere an occasional wipe to keep it gleaming.
Will a Global torch heat my patio?
Treat it as light, not heat. The Global’s 20,000 BTU flame rides at the top of a post, so its warmth drifts upward rather than onto guests – beautiful ambiance, minimal heating. For warmth at seating level, add a fire feature down where people gather.
