Seal Rock Fire Pit: a square galvanized steel fire pit in 36, 48, or 60 inches
The Outdoor Plus Seal Rock fire pit is a square gas fire pit made in the USA from galvanized steel with a powder coat on top, two layers against rust. Choose 36, 48, or 60 inches and one of 15 colors; each size has its own spec sheet on this page.
Order it for natural gas or propane. Light it with a match, or add electronic ignition and start it with a button. The fire pan, burner, key valve, gas hose, and lava rock are included; a wind guard, lid, and cover are optional. Because it burns gas, there are no embers to worry about on a deck. Prefer a rectangle? See our Outdoor Plus fire tables. The Seal Rock fire pit ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
What is under the powder coat on the Seal Rock?
Heavy-duty galvanized steel — zinc-protected before the powder coat ever goes on, which is a belt-and-suspenders defense against corrosion. That two-layer build is why the Seal Rock can live outdoors year-round and still look intentional. It is one of the workhorses of our gas fire pit lineup.
What sizes does the Seal Rock come in?
Three squares: 36, 48, and 60 inches — OPT-SEALPC36, OPT-SEALPC48, and OPT-SEALPC60 — in 15 powder-coat colors including Java, Pewter, Black, and White. The 36-inch suits a compact patio; the 60-inch anchors a full outdoor room.
What ships in the crate?
Everything but the gas supply: fire pan, burner, key valve with its removable key, gas hose, and lava rock. The key valve is your flame control right at the Seal Rock — turn the key, set the height, pocket the key so nobody lights it without you.
Can it stand on a wood deck?
Commonly, yes — the Seal Rock is gas, so the classic ember-on-decking hazard is gone. What remains is engineering: confirm the deck carries the 60-inch weight, respect the spec clearances, and shield boards from radiant heat with a paver pad if the manufacturer calls for it.
What is involved in lighting the Seal Rock?
On the standard build, insert the key, open the valve slowly, and touch a long lighter to the burner — the Seal Rock is burning in seconds. Prefer no lighter at all? Order it Plug and Play Ready or with Low Voltage Electronic ignition, both CSA certified.
Should I upgrade the included lava rock to fire glass?
Only for looks — the included lava rock does the job on day one. Fire glass adds sparkle and reads sleeker against the Seal Rock powder-coat colors, especially Black and Silver Vein. Many owners simply add a layer of glass over the stock rock later.
Is rain going to hurt it?
The galvanized-plus-powder-coat build shrugs off weather; rain will not rust the Seal Rock through. Standing water in the pan is the only real concern — drain and dry before lighting, and use a cover in the off-season so the burner stays ready.
