Contempo rectangle firetable: a low 52-inch slab table with a linear burner
The American Fyre Designs Contempo rectangle firetable is a low rectangular table, 52 inches wide, 36 inches deep, and 15.5 inches tall, with a thick overhanging slab top and sides that taper inward toward the floor. It is cast in concrete reinforced with glass fibers, which looks like stone at a fraction of the weight, and comes in seven colors. A 24-inch stainless steel linear burner creates a ribbon of flame down the center.
Order it for natural gas or propane. Turn the knob and press the igniter to light it, or add the Fyrestarter Bluetooth control and start it from your phone. The burner, pan, fittings, and lava granules are included, and you pick the fill on the page: lava, fire glass, or glass gems. This is the plumbed member of the family: it connects to a dedicated gas line, so there is no tank drawer built into the base. Losing the drawer lets it sit 3 inches lower – 15.5 inches tall versus the LP Select’s 18.5 – giving a sleeker, closer-to-the-ground profile on the same 52-by-36-inch top.
What burner comes in the Contempo Rectangle?
The Contempo Rectangle carries a 24-inch stainless steel linear burner, sized to the table’s proportions so the fire stretches out along the surface. And because this model plumbs into a fixed line, that burner receives steady, uninterrupted fuel – no flame fade as a portable cylinder runs low, because there is no cylinder involved.
Does the Contempo Rectangle need any on-site construction?
None. The table arrives as a finished glass fiber reinforced concrete piece, cast and completed before shipping – no veneering, coating, or curing work on your end. Site preparation is limited to the fuel side: once a qualified technician connects it to the gas line, the project wraps up the day the table arrives.

Which fuel versions does the Contempo Rectangle come in?

Can you switch a fire pit table from propane to natural gas?
The Contempo Rectangle is sold as distinct natural gas and propane versions, each configured for its fuel from day one. So treat this as an ordering decision rather than a retrofit plan: confirm which supply will actually reach your patio and purchase the version built for it. Swapping fuels later is not the intended path.

Two Ways to Light It
Manual Flame Sensing Control System
Standard on every model. A manual battery-powered spark igniter with a thermocouple-equipped control and manual flame height adjustment — no electricity needed. If the thermocouple stops sensing a flame, the gas shuts off automatically, regardless of valve position.
FyreStarter Bluetooth Control
This convenient ON/OFF – High/Low electronic system lets you run the fire from your smartphone — just download the app — or manually at the appliance. Two USB ports (A & C) charge phones, outdoor speakers and more. Optional 110V upgrade, available on the Contempo, Iron Saddle, Legend, Cosmopolitan, Calais Oval and Milan firetables.
Natural Gas or Propane, Your Choice
Every firetable is available for natural gas or propane, so it fits your setup whether you have a gas line on the patio or not. (The Contempo LP Select is propane only.)
Going with propane? Most models include a hidden access door with a tank retention frame that holds a standard 5-gallon LP tank inside the table itself. The tank stays completely out of sight, with no hoses running across your patio. (Tank storage is not included on the Contempo, Iron Saddle, Legend, Calais and Milan firetables.)

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. Sizing and heating need to be figured out, as does the building, but we have always had a helpful partner on our side. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
