Contempo LP Select firetable: a propane fire table with the tank in a drawer
The American Fyre Designs Contempo LP Select firetable is a low rectangular table, 52 inches wide, 36 inches deep, and 18.5 inches tall, with a thick overhanging top on a slightly tapered base. It’s made from concrete reinforced with glass fibers, which looks like stone at a fraction of the weight. It comes in seven colors and has a 24 inch stainless steel linear burner.
It runs on propane only, and you light it by turning the knob and pressing the igniter; the Bluetooth control is not offered on this model. A door on the end opens so the propane tank can slide out on a tray, and you never need a gas line. The burner, pan, fittings, regulator, tank drawer, and lava granules are included, and you pick the fill on the page: lava, fire glass, or glass gems. What kind of burner does the Contempo LP Select use?
A 24-inch stainless steel linear burner runs down the center of the top, producing a long ribbon of flame instead of a single round cluster. The linear shape suits the rectangular table: light and heat spread along its length, so guests seated across from each other share an even view of the fire rather than crowding one hot spot.
Is the Contempo LP Select available in natural gas?
No. LP Select models are engineered as propane-only, self-contained units: the concealed drawer accepts a standard 20-pound cylinder, and everything the burner needs is on board. If you would rather connect a fire table to household natural gas, AFD’s standard Contempo Rectangle covers that with a plumbed natural gas version.
How long does a 20-pound propane tank last on this fire table?
Flame height decides it. Kept at a low, ambient setting, a full 20-pound cylinder can stretch across several evenings of use; run wide open, it burns through fuel much faster. Because checking the cylinder only means sliding the drawer open, it is easy to gauge what is left before guests arrive – plenty of owners simply keep a filled spare nearby.
Do I need to run a gas line for the Contempo LP Select?

What is the Contempo LP Select made of?

Two Ways to Light It
Manual Flame Sensing Control System
Standard on every model. A manual battery-powered spark igniter with a thermocouple-equipped control and manual flame height adjustment — no electricity needed. If the thermocouple stops sensing a flame, the gas shuts off automatically, regardless of valve position.
FyreStarter Bluetooth Control
This convenient ON/OFF – High/Low electronic system lets you run the fire from your smartphone — just download the app — or manually at the appliance. Two USB ports (A & C) charge phones, outdoor speakers and more. Optional 110V upgrade, available on the Contempo, Iron Saddle, Legend, Cosmopolitan, Calais Oval and Milan firetables.
Natural Gas or Propane, Your Choice
Every firetable is available for natural gas or propane, so it fits your setup whether you have a gas line on the patio or not. (The Contempo LP Select is propane only.)
Going with propane? Most models include a hidden access door with a tank retention frame that holds a standard 5-gallon LP tank inside the table itself. The tank stays completely out of sight, with no hoses running across your patio. (Tank storage is not included on the Contempo, Iron Saddle, Legend, Calais and Milan firetables.)

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
